'Committing to parent three kids, when you haven't even committed to each other, doesn't cut it in Kris's book,' a family friend tells the UK's . 'She comes from a time when, if a girl got pregnant and was still single, she got married as soon as possible.'

Kris may be a modern woman, but she's still pretty traditional when it comes to love and marriage!

'Although she understands times have changed, she still has religious values and feels it's only right that Scott make an 'honest woman' out of her little girl,' the source adds.

We've also been told that it's very important to Scott and that, 'It's making him depressed that the love of his life, and mother of his almost three kids, doesn't want to get married.'

'Scott literally brings it up to her almost every day and it's the main thing they are talking about while in the [Hamptons] filming their show,' our source explains. 'It sounds like they could be engaged before the end of the summer if she finally gives into the pressure.'

After Scott lost both of his parents this year, Kourtney wants to make him happy, so that's another reason she's considering taking the plunge with him, the insider adds.
