I had a few cheaper choices but after doing some research, most of the known brands has more cons than pros I knew I couldn’t live with such as heavy weight, bulk, charging issues, smaller battery capacity and geez, candy colors. I could live with hard to read LED indicators but not those that I mentioned, which happens to be features that Stalion Stamina is great at. This extended battery case gives me 100% charge, is slim, lightweight and offers elegant color options. Might be a bit pricier than a ZuZo but cheaper than an Alpatronix. I bought this camera after a lot of shopping. (Full disclosure: I didn't actually purchase it through Amazon.) I am not particularly good at photography, and it is just what I need. It has enabled me to take really nice shots both inside and out. You do have to get the owner's manual and read a little bit, but it's not a steep learning curve. I have found it quite easy, and I'm so far *extremely* pleased with the results. It takes pictures quickly enough for me, and even one or two that it said were going to be blurry were quite nice. I find that indoor pictures with lower light are more likely to blur if you use the zoom function. The orange hand-shake symbol will warn you, and you can try zooming back out. It usually does not give the hand-shake warning unless I try to use zoom, even under indoor lighting conditions. The files are rather large, so not convenient for sending by e-mail. Perhaps I could change the file size by altering the default pixel settings, but they look so nice that I don't want to mess with anything. I'm getting better shots with this than with our fancier Canon with more settings, because I can understand this camera. After approx. a week of use, I highly recommend it. Don't forget--you do need to buy a separate memory card.</div><br /></div>

Here are the things I like about the phone:<br/><br />* The phone is a nice size, it's lighter than my HTC EVO 4G.<br/><br />* The processor is one of the fastest US released Android phone, and it comes with 2 GB of RAM.<br/><br />* I played around with the camera and video camera and the quality is great in my opinion. (I'll post some pics or a video later.)<br/><br />* The ICS 4.0 is really snappy and it opens up applications quickly.<br/><br />* It comes with Google Wallet. I signed up and got a free $10 to use. (I'm going to McDonald's to test it out!)<br/><br />* I've only use the S Voice application a few times, but it seems to be just like Siri on my wife's iPhone 4S.<br/><br />* It comes with a micro SD slot in case more space is needed to save pictures, videos, etc.<br/><br />* You can change out the battery if needed.<br/><br />* Battery life last twice as long compared to my HTC EVO 4G.<br/><br />Now for some cons:<br/><br />* This is carrier related and not the phone itself, but the 4G LTE is not all in all areas so be sure to check your carrier if internet speeds is a deciding factor in purchasing this phone. If not you'll be stuck with 3G speeds.<br/><br />* The phone is so nice, that I baby it all the time!<br/><br />I was on the fence about getting this phone or the HTC EVO 4G LTE aka HTC One X. Like its predecessors, this one fits into my front pants pocket (or the case I recommend toward the end of this review). That point alone may make this the best camera you own; having a $5k DSLR doesn't do you much good if you left it home because it wasn't worth the effort to lug it along.<br/><br />However, unlike many other small cameras, Samsung had designed a camera that works with, rather than trying to compete with, your phone or tablet. They do this without sacrificing either features or quality. Even low-level manual control, things like setting shutter speed, lens aperture, ISO, are available *without* being buried deep inside menus. However, it is done in a way that doesn't get in my way when I don't want to bother with it. This camera is designed to leverage convenience and technology while still providing control when I want it.<br/><br />DETAILS:<br/><br />The camera body has a sleek appearance and a solid feel. The pebbled finish that covers most of the camera looks like leather and, more importantly, aids in getting a secure grip. And, if you don't care about the "mechanics", it makes for a very nice looking camera.<br/><br />One issue with all small cameras is the built-in flash. They are underpowered and create red eye. Both problems are caused by the need to keep the camera small; the flash needs to be small and positioned close to the lens. Samsung addresses in a number of ways. Firstly, they include a powerful (for a compact camera) flash to pop up and out of the camera at the press of a button. Secondly, the lens is designed to let in a lot of light so I don't need as bright a flash in the first place, Thirdly, the "sensor" is very accurately captures pictures even when there isn't a lot of light available. The result is an image that is remarkably sharp, even in low light. In fact, I can take pictures in a well-lit room without having to use the flash at all.<br/><br />What sets this camera apart is how well it integrates with a phone or tablet. In my case, these are iDevices and I haven't tried it with any of the Android options available. However, with iPhones/Pads, it is a matter of downloading a free multi-purpose app. After that, transferring photos from my camera to my phone/tablet is as easy as pressing a button on the camera (it is a real, honest-to-goodness hardware button) and starting the app. From there I can quickly send one or a bunch of pictures from my camera for editing, embellishment, and probably posting to Facebook. There are a boatload of other wireless capabilities like using the camera as a baby monitor and using my phone as a remote viewfinder and camera control. To me, though, the biggest and most heavily used feature is the ability to easily and quickly move pictures from the camera to a device that can "send them off" from anywhere in the world.<br/><br />Things of note:<br/><br />- This camera does not have a GPS. Based on my experience with other compact cameras that do have that feature, they tend to shorten battery life dramatically and I don't miss it.<br/><br />- This camera uses a mico-SD card. That's not a bad thing, you just need to know to have one on hand and now you do. My recommendation is to get a relatively fast card with a large capacity. I'm using the SanDisk Ultra 16GB MicroSDHC and it works just fine. The time between shots is about halved when I use a SanDisk Extreme Plus 32GB MicroSDHC instead. For nature shots it's not such a big deal. However, if you are taking pictures of people, and especially kids, I would definitely recommend the faster card.<br/><br />Some other suggestions that apply:<br/><br />Normally at this point, I would put in some details about manually setting ISO or selecting a color space. However, for most people buying this camera, it just isn't relevant. You are buying this camera because you want to take great pictures without having to worry about that stuff. The good news is the Samsung WB350 has several "automatic" modes where it makes those decisions for you and does a great job at it.<br/><br />However, as I mentioned above, this camera stands out among others in its class in putting this level of control at your fingertips when you care to use it. If you do want to "take your photography to the next level then a great resource is the Confessions of a Compact Camera Shooter: Get Professional Quality Photos with Your Compact Camera. It tells you how to get dSLR results out of cameras such as this one.<br/><br />Finally, I've found the Case Logic TBC-312 Pocket Video Camcorder Case is just the right size for this camera (and is surprisingly inexpensive It's made even better by using one of these, Nite Ize SB1-2PK-01 Size-1 S-Biner, Black, 2-Pack, to secure it to a belt loop.<br/><br />Please feel free to let Amazon and me know whether this was helpful to you or not, since it helps me improve my reviews.</div><br /></div>

If you dont mind plunking down the extra $100 for the touchscreen then go for it but really you will do fine without it and save yourself $100 especially if you are buying these as gifts like I did for others in my family.<br/><br />Here is a list of the APPS I use on both and it runs them fast and flawlessly:<br/><br />Facebook, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Chrome Remote Desktop (flawlessly connects to my Windows 7 laptop and I can run any windows program remotely with ease and flawlessly connects to my Office Desktop and I can access all my office records which is key since i am a family doc), Google Cloud Print (easily prints documents to all the printers i have set up), MyBible, Kindle, Twitter, Hootsuite, Weatherbug, Netflix, Pandora, YouTube, Google+ photos (automatically puts all my photos taken on my Iphone over to my chromebook), RUNS ALL WEBSITES INCLUDING BANKING WEBSITES and my mobile hospital app FLAWLESSLY WITH CHROME (including adobe flash player sites which my Ipad and Iphone still wont run)<br/><br />The only CONS i can find so far are no SKYPE app.....If you want to do video calls then need to use GOOGLE HANGOUTS which is much less intuitive than skype....and you CANNOT hook a printer directly to a chromebook but you can use google cloud print to print easily...needs wifi connection to do most things (this is really not a problem for me as i am always connected and they have developed a number of apps that work when not connected including document writer and email offline<br/><br />Battery Life Amazing! almost 8hrs of use!<br/><br />Touchscreen good but not like an Ipad (can't use your fingers to zoom in with pinch)<br/><br />Touchpad very good! This battery case so far has had the best charging results of all of them I have tested at 75.4% efficiency. It charged an iPhone 5S 116% on one charge of the case's battery. Outstanding! If you are a power user of your iPhone then this case is designed for you. This case more than doubles your working time of your iPhone and it charges your phone quickly. This case is MFI (Made For iPhone) certified by Apple and the lightning connector will cause no issues with your iPhone. After you insert your iPhone into the case you can use the supplied Micro USB cable to not only charge the case and your phone but also to sync your data with iTunes. I tested this and it worked perfectly.<br/><br />What is in the box?<br/><br />* A black top plastic phone frame<br/><br />* An orange top plastic phone frame<br/><br />* An extension plug for iPhone headphones jack that is 3 inches long<br/><br />* The battery base of the case itself that is rated at 2400 mAh capacity<br/><br />* The charging cable that is 34 inches long<br/><br />* A brief instruction manual.<br/><br />The case with a top frame weighs in at 3.5 ounces. The bottom of the case extends down and covers the downward facing iPhone speakers so there are two front facing portals on the case for the sound to come out. I actually think the music sounds better when your iPhone is in the case. There is a Micro USB charging port on the side of the case.<br/><br />When you put your phone into the case and plug in the case to charge then your iPhone will charge first and when is it is at 100% then the case battery will begin to charge. There is one multicolor LED on the bottom of the case. When it is red and blinking it is charged between 0 and 10%, solid red on it is 10 to 35%, a blue LED means 35 to 75% and a green LED on means 75 to 100. As the case battery is being charged one of the LEDs will be flashing to indicate what the charge status of the case battery is at. The LED is quite bright so I make sure at night that I lay the case with the LED facing down as not to light up the area around the iPhone. It can be distracting in a dark bedroom at night. The charging power is specified at 5 VDC and 1/2 Amp. The power button on the back is slightly recessed below the back surface of the case so you are less likely to press it and start your iPhone charging. (It is only very slightly recessed)<br/><br />When you want to charge your phone just press the button on the back of the case for 2 seconds and you will hear your iPhone beep. When the iPhone battery is full the charging will stop. If you want to check the charge status of the battery pack then press the same button for 2 seconds and the LED will light up to show you the charge remaining in the case battery.<br/><br />You should note that I did not operate my phone while I charged it but the WIFI and phone transmitter were left on. When I test a battery I do an extensive set of tests that fully charges the battery and then I use it to charge devices and make sure that it is fully depleted when my tests are done. I time each test and document the results as the test progresses. I then calculate the mAh of capacity that the battery supplied and I then calculate its charging efficiency. This process takes from 3 hours to, in very large batteries, about a day for testing. I don't take any short cuts or guess and every battery has these tests performed on it and documented. This is to assure that the battery is tested and it performs well. This means that you can charge your iPhone to 116% of a full charge using this case. You can also see that the iPhone increased its battery charge quickly at a rate of 20 to 30% for every 30 minutes that the case battery was turned on. You literally can charge your iPhone in about 2 hours. You can also continue to use your phone while it is charging. That is great to do without the use of any cables!<br/><br />Don't forget to plug your headphones onto the extender cable and just carry them that way. Now you can make sure that you can properly plug them into the iPhone at any time. I rated this battery case as a 5 star product. The battery is great, the case is nicely designed and all of the controls and jacks for your iPhone are accessible.
