By now you are probably aware that the internet has nude photos of J-Law on it, hacked from her private account via (it would appear) getting into their iCloud accounts, along with those of a whole mess of other famous people.
Don't search for them, and don't click on them. Just don't.
If you really need to know why - assuming you've missed the comprehensive explanations from the likes of Clementine Ford and Van Badham, who are possessors of two of Australia's most exquisitely fine brains - then the upshot is this: it's an act of sexual abuse, plain and simple.
There's no ifs or buts or 'b-but they're famous people!' equivocations here. This isn't the same as a screenshot of a nude scene from a movie: these are private photos from people's private lives, and the people who stole them are criminals - and when you click, you're making their crime worthwhile.
Yes, pretty ladies are pretty. And look: if my brain was hooked up to a Things I Like Seeing machine, I don't doubt for a second that 'hot dames in the nuddy' would top the resultant readout.
However, there is a difference between someone knowingly posing naked to be seen and someone having their privacy violated so men can spank one out. There are moves afoot to add those who have shared the pix to the list of folks being prosecuted, incidentally, so might be best to be circumspect on the subject.
On the up side, such as it is, it's interesting how the tone has changed since it's J-Law. When Scarlett Johansson nudes were being shared around the place, there was a good deal of tut-tutting, but people are genuinely outraged that people have violated the privacy of the planet's Best Gal Pal.
Oh, and if you want to avoid getting your own saucy pics accessed by people determined to humiliate you in public for daring to have an exciting, sexy private life, because theVine is nothing if not comprehensive, Jake Cleland doles out some solid advice on how to do it RIGHT HERE!
