Just days after Solange Knowles physically assaulted her brother-in-law, Jay Z, the singer gave an interview about setting a good example for her son, Julez. Ironically, she claims the responsibility of being a mom makes her a better person. Well, this is an interesting case of irony.
In a Mother's Day interview that was released on May 11, just five days after she attacked Jay Z at a Met Ball after party, Solange opened up about how important it is to set the right example for her son, Julez.
'Also, when you make mistakes and act a fool in life, you are now thinking: I have a child I should be setting an example for,' Solange told RebeccaMinkoff.com.
'That kind of growth and responsibility makes you a better you!'

Not to be fresh, but maybe Solange should have been thinking about what sort of example she was setting when she decided to start punching her sister Beyonce's husband on Monday, May 5, inside an elevator at the Standard Hotel in New York City.

The interview, in which the fashion designer's website focused on celebrity moms they love, continued with Solange saying that she is proud of her parenting skills.
'Out of everything I do, being a mother is the thing I'm most proud of.'
'Everyone has to figure out their pathways as parents on their own. There is no wrong or right way - it's solely based on what feels right,' Solange explained.
Solange's son has a wonderful relationship with Jay Z & Beyonce, and he is often seen sitting courtside with them at basketball games. The couple even brought him along on a trip to Paris, France in 2011, where they dined with Solange's now ex-husband, Daniel Smith.
