Once Upon a Time: How About That Season 3 Finale?



Once Upon a Time S03E21 & S03E22: 'Snow Drifts' & 'There's No Place Like Home'

's epic two-hour season finale is taking us to a place only fan-fiction writers have so far dared tread, a pre-curse Fairy-Tale Land with everybody dressed up nice. Finally, a context where Emma's hair makes sense! And fancy-dress balls! And evil-doppelgänger Hook! And Old School Bob Mackey-Style Regina! Once Upon a Time's third season has been a wild, Splash-Mountain-esque ride: full of questionable elements, at times quite damp, and with its biggest thrill saved for the very end. From the episode promos I've seen, OUATOUAT has essentially set us up for a standalone movie, and I have every hope that it will be delightfully indulgent and wildly entertaining. If it's not, it'll be two hours of the writers collectively and individually slapping me in the face. Exciting, right?!
