VANCOUVER - Three people including a police officer have been injured in separate incidents of gunfire in Vancouver after a shooting a downtown coffee shop in an upscale district downtown.
Police responded to reports of shots fired at about 11 a.m. Tuesday and found a man had been shot and seriously wounded outside a Starbucks in Yaletown.
'I never thought I would see people with strollers running down the Yaletown seawall to escape gunfire,' resident Scott Neufeld said.

Paramedics rushed the male victim to hospital as police followed a man believed to be responsible for the mayhem.
Sgt. Randy Fincham says the man and an officer were injured when they exchanged shots several blocks away.
He says a suspect has been arrested. Vancouver police tweeted that injuries to the officer appear to be minor.
