The first time around for the Final 5 on Big Brother 16, Frankie won the PoV and kept the nominations the same. Did history repeat itself, or has the Rewind truly created a butterfly effect to change the endgame of the season?

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 16 spoilers.

Caleb is the new HoH. He nominated Frankie and Victoria. Cody won the Power of Veto. He did not use it.

Frankie and Victoria are still on the back and Frankie is about to be evicted in fifth place. He knows he's going and has handled it quite well, preparing his eviction speech which is going to be largely about how stupid it was to push the button. I'm sure he and Nicole can bond about how the twists this season ruined their games.

Caleb initially wanted a tied vote, but Cody and Derrick nixed that idea, instead looking to make it the 10th unanimous vote of the season.

Now all eyes are on the Final 4, and though Cody is confident that Caleb would take him to the Final 2, that's not what he wants. Cody wants to go to the end with Derrick as the Hitmen, so they've already plotted to try and take out Caleb, making it easier to win that last HoH and evict Victoria in third place. And Caleb is thinking the same thing, wanting to take out Cody in fourth place.

The set-up is quite similar to the endgame of season 10, with the Hitmen as the new Renegades. Derrick is the new Dan Gheesling while Cody is his Memphis. Victoria is Jerry, the old man who they knew would be easy to beat at the end and evict in third place. That would make Caleb and Frankie the Keesha and Renny.

-This is the third time in a row that the Power of Veto has not been used this season. That hasn't happened since early in season 12.

-This is the fifth time this season that the Power of Veto hasn't been used. It has only not been used this many times in seasons 3, 4 and 10.

-Cody and Frankie have both NOT used the PoV twice each. The only other season in which two people didn't use the PoV twice was season 10 with Jerry and Dan. Besides those four, only six other people have ever chosen not to use the PoV two times in a single season: season 15's Andy Herren, season 13's Brendon Villegas, season 12's Britney Haynes, season 8's Daniele Donato, season 6's James Rhine and season 4's Robert Roman.

-Derrick has officially made it to the Final 4 without ever being nominated, something that hasn't happened since Hardy Ames-Hill in season 2 and Danielle Reyes and Jason Guy in season 3.

-Season 3's Danielle and Jason both made it to the Final 3 without being nominated, but neither won the last HoH and so they were both on the block. Derrick has a chance to break that record if he stays off the block next week and wins the final HoH.

-In the history of the game, there are only two HGs who made it to the end without ever having to face an eviction vote: season 4 runner-up Allison Irwin and season 5 winner Drew Daniel. Derrick is still in the running to join them.

-It's Day 86 in the house and Derrick has still never been nominated. He has survived 14 sets of nominations. Between original nominations and PoV ceremonies, there have been 19 opportunities for him to go on the block.

-If it's a unanimous vote this week, then no matter what happens, the two HGs at the end will both make it there without ever receiving a single eviction vote cast against them. This will be the third season in a row in which that has happened, even though it only happened one other time before that, way back in season 4.
