Former 'X Factor' finalist Simone Battle passed away on Sept. 5 after an apparent suicide, according to a report. Simone's dad is shocked by his daughter's sudden and tragic death, especially since she showed no signs that she was struggling.

Simone Battle's family continues to mourn the loss of the young singer. The 25-year-old's father is in total disbelief over his daughter's passing. They texted every day and Simone didn't give off any impression that she was hurting, a new report claims. Simone was found dead in her home on Sept. 5 after reportedly taking her own life. The former X Factor finalist and G.R.L. singer was thrilled about her burgeoning music career, and her father Anthony said she never revealed to him that she was suffering, according to .

Anthony told the outlet that he texted Simone every day. They had not spoken over the phone in a few weeks, but Simone seemed happy in their texts.

However, Anthony is aware that Simone could have been hiding something. 'It's possible she may have had an invisible disability,' he told TMZ.

Like Anthony, Simone's friends also said the singer showed no signs of problem, even when they texted her the night before her death.

Simone's boyfriend found her body in her bedroom on the morning of Sept. 5, her father told TMZ. She was found hanging in a closet in her bedroom, the outlet reports. Simone's father doesn't suspect any foul play. Her autopsy is set for Sunday.

Simone auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. She performed 'When I Grow Up' by The Pussycat Dolls in front of the celebrity judges. She was ultimately eliminated when she made it to the Top 17. When news of her death broke, her X Factor family, including the judges, took the time to offer their condolences.

Simon Cowell, who mentored Simone, tweeted: 'I am so sad to hear about the news Simone Battle has passed away. She was such a fun nice person. It's such a loss. Rest in peace Simone.'

Former judge Paula Abdul also spoke out on the sad death. 'My heart & prayers go out 2 @GRLSimone's family, band mates, & loved ones. Such a beautiful sweet promising star. May she rest in peace. xoP,' she tweeted.
