Hot News: Jon Voight: Angelina Jolie's Father Not Invited To Wedding To Brad Pitt

We all know that is traditional for a bride to be walked down the aisle by her dad, but it seems like Brad and Angie went super non-traditional on this one - not only did her father, Jon, not walk his daughter down the aisle, he didn't even know about the wedding at all!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's August 23rd wedding might be the surprise of the year! With no forewarning whatsoever, I'm not sure anyone on the outside saw this one coming! At 7:30AM on August 28, five full days after the Jolie-Pitt wedding, Inside Edition asked Jon what he thought about his daughter tying the knot, and his response was that he didn't know that she and Brad were married!

What?! While we know that Angie and her dad have had their ups and downs, we would have assumed that since they are speaking again he would have at least been aware there was a wedding happening.

But apparently, Jon was just as surprised to hear the big news as we all were! And when asked if he had a comment, he gave a friendly but generic, 'That's nice.' Ouch! Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie's Kids: Part They Played In The Wedding

While Angie may have opted to leave her pops out of the loop on this one, her and Brad's six children - Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8 and twins, Knox and Vivienne, 6, all played important roles in their parents' big day.

Instead of her dad, Maddox and Pax walked their mama down the aisle, while Zahara and Vivienne were the resident flower girls, lining their mom's way with rose petals, a rep for the couple told Indy Star.

And as for mom and dad's wedding bands? Those were handled by ring bearers Shiloh and Knox. Minus Jon's absence, it seems like it was a total family affair.
