It's not over between Milan Lucic and the Montreal Canadiens. (With the Habs and Bruins, is it ever?)

There's one Canadien in particular who seems to spark Lucic's ire: Alexei Emelin. He was one of two players the Bruins forward allegedly threatened during the handshake following Boston's Game 7 loss to Montreal in last season's playoffs. Lucic also called Emelin a 'chicken' for a low hit back in March.

Lucic - a man of integrity, of course - made good on his promise of pain in the Bruins' first meeting with the Canadiens this season. With Boston down a goal and pressing for the equalizer 1:20 remaining in the third period, Lucic took a boarding penalty for driving Emelin into the glass.

The penalty was met with loud cheers from the Montreal crowd. And Lucic responded by taunting Canadiens fans, pretending to pleasure himself as he entered the penalty box.

The penalty proved costly. P.A. Parenteau scored an empty-net goal on the power-play in Montreal's 6-4 win. And so did the gesture: Lucic was fined $5,000 by the NHL on Friday.

There was a bit of unsportsmanlike conduct from the fans, too. Someone in the crowd used a laser pointer to try to distract the Boston Bruins on Thursday night in the Canadiens' 6-4 victory.

Video replay clearly showed a green dot dancing on and around Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask. When asked if he noticed the laser being pointed at him, Rask was quick to dismiss it.

'At me? No,' said Rask, who allowed five goals on 23 shots before leaving 7:17 into the third.

Rask did notice the laser being directed elsewhere.

'You know, I saw it in the second, but it was in the offensive zone,' Rask said. 'Good thing I didn't go blind or anything.' With files from The Canadian Press
