On the Sept. 22 edition of Raw, Seth Rollins will find adversaries coming at him from every direction.

He not only has to face the man whose head he smashed into a stack of cinder blocks, but Rollins made new enemies at Night of Champions in John and Brock . He'll need all the protection The Authority can offer.

Sunday's pay-per-view crowned a number of new titleholders who are sure to be featured as Raw hits the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.

The biggest unanswered question heading into that show is whether is going to have a 'new generation' join the promotion. A hint on Twitter has led to rumors, rumblings and raised expectations.

Digging into that possibility, examining five-point preview on .com and sifting through the latest reports provide a solid look of what to expect on Monday's Raw. News, Potential Spoilers

has something involving a 'new generation' planned for Monday's Raw, but it's likely not as thrilling as it sounds.

The company's official Twitter account tweeted a tease of an arrival of some sort:

You've waited long enough... Prepare yourself for the next generation. 9/22/2014- WWE (@WWE) September 19, 2014

Some may interpret that as talking about , Kevin and some of the other big-name prospects at . After all, and company were dubbed 'WWE's new New Generation' in a recent article on .

In addition, , Tyler Breeze and Adrian Neville are booked to be at the next few TV .

Writing for PWInsider.com, Mike Johnson reported last week that 'Sami and Tyler Breeze are currently scheduled for the next few weeks while we are told champion Adrian Neville is currently scheduled to be at the well into October.'

Signs point to this just being a promotion for , though.

For one, a key figure in the video game took part in the conversation. Sting tweeted about Sept. 22, seemingly marking it as something that he'd be involved with:

It's Showtime. 9.22.14- Sting (@Sting) September 20, 2014

That sounds more like him being around to hype the game than something involving the stars. On top of that, the Network is scheduled to air (subscription required) the roster reveal event from August right after Monday's Raw.

PWMania.com of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter as saying, 'This is not something to get excited about or you will be disappointed. It's a Dixie Carter level surprise.'

It sounds as if is right here. just while and have yet to do so. It makes little sense for them to jump to the main roster right now. It would also be strange to promote an appearance from , Breeze and Neville this way, when they already debuted on Raw.

However, Monday could be The Ascension's time to rise.

Johnson noted last week on that The Ascension were also 'brought to Raw and .' They have also been working a number of main-roster live events as of late.

In an interview with Chuck Carroll on CBS DC, Stardust said, 'The inevitable is that a new challenger needs to step up. Perhaps, someone we haven't seen.' He also added, 'Even a team like 's The Ascension would be a fitting little appetizer.'

That may be something that happens further down the road, but post pay-per-view editions of Raw often feature surprises such as new stars debuting.

will need a boost in roster depth anyway. Roman Reigns, for one, is not showing up to Memphis.

over the weekend that Reigns had 'undergone emergency surgery for an incarcerated hernia.' He was unable to compete at Night of Champions and c now be out for several months.

Chris Jericho will likely be absent as well.

, 'Jericho is slated to finish up with on Sunday 9/21 at Night of Champions.' Jericho lost to Randy Orton at Night of Champions and later thanked the fans on Twitter:

Dean Ambrose being back in action will help counteract the loss of Jericho and Reigns. Night of Champions Fallout

Ambrose ended his recent hiatus by doing just what he had been before he left-chasing down Rollins. The Lunatic Fringe made a surprise return at Night of Champions, and it looks as if we can expect more of his fury toward his old partner.

In the .com preview, , ' Will Ambrose strike again on Raw?' You can count on it. Fans have seen him go after Rollins at every turn, and after Night of Champions, it's clear that being away hasn't dissipated his hunger for revenge.

Rollins won't just have Ambrose to worry about, though.

That and 's certain anger leads , 'Has Rollins made himself a target of both of last night's main event participants?'

It promises to be a tough night for Rollins.

After The used a distraction and a handful of tights to dethrone Dolph at Night of Champions, one may have wondered if that feud would continue or if the self-proclaimed A-lister would move on to another foe. It appears that the former is true.

On .com, doesn't talk of The heading elsewhere. He talks of getting another crack at him, writing, 'Expect The Showoff to look for retribution tonight.'

That seems to be case with Paige and AJ Lee as well. AJ defeated Paige on Sunday to become Divas champ once more.

that this feud will keep rolling: 'The Diva of Tomorrow won't let this defeat go lightly.'

After the lack of a definitive finish between and , one would guess that Hell in a Cell will feature their third straight pay-per-view collision. However, it's not clear whether will be in Memphis to build toward that bout.

's mug is the primary image for the five-point preview, but he's not advertised to appear on .com, as noted by Marc Middleton of Wrestling Inc. The preview poses the question, 'What's next for Brock ?' but then focuses more on Rollins and .

With or without The Beast Incarnate, Monday's Raw has plenty to cover with rivalries progressing and loose ends from Night of Champions to tie up.
