Jacobs managed to score a double in the 1st end, but left his last stone vulnerable in the 2 nd, allowing Murdoch to sneak in a point.
The Canadian team of Jacobs, Ryan Fry, E.J. Harnden, Ryan Harnden and alternate Caleb Flaxey, has a record of eight wins and two losses in the tournament so far.
The Canadian women, led by skip Jennifer Jones, won gold yesterday in their tournament.
