Hot News: Washington measles outbreak linked to BC

The Associated Press Video<br/><br />Stock photo Health<br/><br />On Sunday, Dr. Greg Stern of Whatcom County, which borders B.C., said there was a confirmed case of measles and that the individual involved had been to the Fraser Valley.<br/><br />The adult male showed signs of measles after returning to the U.S. and was quickly isolated. That spread the virus to three other family members. It has been reported the family attends a church in the Fraser Valley where some parishioners have contracted measles.<br/><br />There have been more than 300 confirmed cases in B.C., many of them in the Fraser Valley, including a student who had been attending the British Columbia Institute of Technology campus in Burnaby, just east of Vancouver.<br/><br />Fraser Health has been in contact with Washington officials and continues to explain the need for vaccination, a measure that some religious groups are against.<br/><br />In Hamilton and the surrounding Halton region, media reports have said three people have been diagnosed with measles. That qualifies as an outbreak and has Ontario health workers issuing concern and additional warnings.<br/><br />'Measles is highly contagious to susceptible people from the beginning of the illness until four days after the rash first appears,' Dr. Hamidah Meghani, Hamilton's associate medical doctor of health, said in a news release.<br/><br />The difficulty across Canada is that there are areas with a low-immunization rate, and that allows for the disease to gain a foothold before it moves across valleys and borders.<br/><br />Post By http://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/health-and-fitness/health/washington-measles-outbreak-linked-to-bc/article17751184/</div>

Tegan and Sara, who performed Closer during the show last night, were inspired when they saw a Toronto choir stand in for them at last September's Polaris Prize awards gala. At the Junos, why not form a one-weekend-only choir to act as backup singers?<br/><br /><br/><br />Tegan and Sara, backed by a choir full of fans, perform their song Closer at the 2014 Juno Awards in Winnipeg on March 30, 2014. REUTERS gallery<br/><br />After a harsh winter in much of the country, musicians on the Juno Awards red carpet were looking forward to summer. Juno winners Tegan and Sara say they're excited for summer music festivals. CP Video Video<br/><br />That's how I got on stage at Winnipeg's MTS Centre on Sunday night, wearing a graffiti T-shirt and dancing like crazy with singers who came mainly from Vancouver, Winnipeg and Toronto - even one who travelled from Utah. We were chosen based on a one-minute audition video of our a capella rendition of Closer, plus our ability to pay our way to the host city.<br/><br />The commitment wasn't trivial: three intense sessions of rehearsing and recording over five days, including a dress rehearsal of the entire show on Sunday.<br/><br />Choreographer Dave Campbell was our north star throughout rehearsals, encouraging us and bringing us notes from the producers after each run-through. A born performer, he called out instructions with a show-biz accent, and explained how to avoid looking stiff on stage using turns of phrase invoking Tennessee pageant queens. At one point he offered to sing us Disney songs in Japanese.<br/><br />The dance steps weren't complicated, but nevertheless we blocked out our movements in the arena's main concourse on Friday morning - one of the few areas where there was enough space. Masking tape marked where the edges of the stage would be - one next to the concession stands and photographs of musicians who have performed at the arena before us, names like Metallica, Eric Clapton and Taylor Swift. We could barely hear Campbell's instructions while Matt Mays sound checked Take It On Faith on stage.<br/><br />Friday's sound check in the empty arena may have been a novelty for us, but it wasn't for the musicians in the band. They wisecracked with Sara and Tegan about the infamous Bill O'Reilly 'do it live' video clip and joked around between run-throughs. The twins were exceedingly kind and seemed honestly grateful we were there.<br/><br />Backstage on Sunday it was a lot of hurry up and wait, with not much excitement except near the Talent Tunnel. There, hallways bustled with production crew and Canadian celebrities. While we waited for our dress rehearsal Sarah McLachlan, Chris Hadfield and host Serena Ryder passed by. The next time I saw Hadfield, I was in the bathroom. I decided against asking him how peeing in space is different from peeing at the Junos.<br/><br />The week began on Wednesday in an unspectacular rehearsal space at the Manitoba Theatre for Young People in Winnipeg's Forks district. Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman, the leaders of Choir! Choir! Choir! in Toronto, were asked to help choose the singers and prepare them for the gig. It was their group's performance of Closer at the Polaris gala that inspired the idea.<br/><br />There were 90 audition videos, from which 25 singers were selected to form the so-called Closer Choir. Aside from three of us, nobody has even met Goldman and Adilman before, let alone sung with them. But since the singers had experience organizing or singing in choirs at home, the process was quick. Within an hour we had already divided ourselves into high, mid and low voices and learned the three parts for our one-minute appearance in the song. Filling the rest of the time with an impromptu singalong ended up being a good icebreaker.<br/><br />Most of us were fans as well as singers, so getting to rehearse with Tegan and Sara later that evening was a big moment. Their crew, sound engineers and bandmates turned a small, high-ceilinged theatre space with a few risers into a pop-up recording studio where we could run through the song a few times before recording a vocal backing track to be used in the arena and on the air Sunday night.<br/><br />It went well, and erased any doubts I might have had about whether we could click on short notice and come across as a cohesive choir.<br/><br />A few days and some unforgettable experiences later, our appearance on the Juno stage was over in a flash. Nobody fell down, the audience cheered and my Twitter feed lit up with congratulations. I'm impressed at the hours of work that went into such a short performance. We know that you think 'nothing happened' and that the flashbacks were pointless. However, we disagree! It was the perfect way to cap off Season 4 and to hit the reset button for Season 5.<br/><br />A lot of fans are upset over the March 30 Walking Dead season finale, claiming that 'nothing happened' and that the flashbacks to the prison to show how much everyone has changed were redundant and unnecessary. However, I thought that the finale was a great way to cap off the season; after all, if all of your questions were answered, what would keep you tuning in next season? Read on for more about why we thought the Season 4 finale was as perfect as it could get, and tell me if you agree with me or if I'm talking nonsense. 'The Walking Dead' Finale Was The Perfect Way To End Season 4 And Gear Up For Season 5<br/><br />Firstly, let's be honest - for a show about zombies, the fast-paced, high-tension action scenes are few and far between in comparison to the various scenes of our heroes walking through the woods, endlessly. As fans, we all know this. A whole lot of 'nothing' always has, and always will happen on The Walking Dead - but during these 'nothing' scenes is the focused, meaningful, and compelling character development that keeps us coming back for more.<br/><br />Take Our Poll<br/><br />A lot of fans were frustrated by the flashbacks to the prison, insisting that they didn't need to be told that Rick ( <strong>Andrew Lincoln</strong>) and Carl ( <strong>Chandler Riggs</strong>) have changed - that it's fairly obvious. However, Rick was already pretty hardened by the time our heroes ended up at the prison; regardless, he still had hope that a home could exist for them. There was still hope that he could just plant vegetables, farm animals, and that he could still draw Carl away from the darkness inside of him.<br/><br />Now, Rick is more violent, more protective, and more suspicious. Rick, Carl and Michonne ( <strong>Danai Gurira</strong>) entered through the back door of Terminus, and was wary of the Terminus welcome wagon from the get-go. They weren't going to just accept that Terminus could be a home for them - not after how their experience with the prison turned out.<br/><br />The Grimes family used to have a milder side to them, but being attacked by Joe ( <strong>Jeff Kober</strong>) and his group of 'Claimers' was a turning point for the both of them; Carl has almost definitely crossed over to the dark, unfeeling side after escaping sexual assault by a hairsbreadth, and Rick ripped out Joe's throat with his teeth. His teeth! Immediately afterward, he gutted Carl's attacker like a fish. These people are not messing around anymore. 'The Walking Dead' Finale - It's Not True That 'Nothing Happened'<br/><br />When Rick, Carl, and Michonne were corralled into the train car to reunite with the rest of Team Prison (and a few newcomers), Rick's closing line said it all: 'They're screwing with the wrong people.' It's kind of a bold statement to make when you're trapped in a train car, but it's a show of how far Rick has come as a character. He is willing to do anything and everything to protect himself, Carl, and the rest of Team Prison, and he won't let being trapped like a rat by a bunch of cannibals stop him. It's the perfect way to end Season 4 - Rick and Carl have grown up, and are putting away childish things, and are going to open Season 5 kicking ass and taking names.<br/><br />The character development this season has been incredible. Glenn ( Steven Yeun) forgave Tara ( <strong>Alanna Masterson</strong>) for her inadvertent part in his separation from Maggie ( <strong>Lauren Cohan</strong>) after the calamity in the prison. Carol ( <strong>Melissa McBride</strong>) confessed to Tyreese ( <strong>Chad Coleman</strong>) her murder of Karen ( <strong>Melissa Ponzio</strong>); he forgave her. Daryl ( <strong>Norman Reedus</strong>), who once butted heads with Rick daily, stood up to Joe and his gang to defend him. Rick called Daryl his 'brother.'<br/><br />The Walking Dead is not all about zombies and murder; it's about characters, and it's about how real-life people would deal in a real-life apocalyptic scenario - that's what the show always has been, and will continue to be. Hot News: New Brunswick battered by storm for second straight day

<div xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'><img height="300" src="http://i.cbc.ca/1.2592722.1396276596!/fileImage/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/original_300/shediac-trees.jpg" width="100%"/><br/><br />March is going out like a lion in New Brunswick as a slow-moving storm system dumps a mix of snow, ice pellets, freezing rain and rain on the province for a second straight day.<br/><br />Weather warnings are in place for about half the province, with an additional 25 centimetres of a winter mix of snow and ice pellets possible in some areas. The warnings for the Fredericton, York Sunbury, and Carleton County areas were dropped late Monday morning.<br/><br />About 34,000 customers were affected by NB Power outages by Monday at about 6:30 p.m.<br/><br />More than 14,000 of those are in Moncton. A main transmission line serving large areas of the city was knocked offline, the utility said.<br/><br />The Shediac and Bouctouche areas were also hard hit, with more than 8,000 customers in each area without electricity.<br/><br />'Overnight things really picked up in those areas with a lot of wind and trees on the lines,' said NB Power spokesperson Meagan Gerrish. 'That's where most of our efforts are going to be throughout the day today.'<br/><br />Environment Canada storm warnings advise that another 15 to 25 centimetres of ice pellets and an extended period of freezing rain is expected Monday.<br/><br />'Generally heavy snow and blowing snow is occurring over northeastern New Brunswick with a mixture of snow, ice pellets and freezing rain over central regions. Over the south freezing rain or rain is occurring over most areas,' states Environment Canada.<br/><br />'The freezing rain and rain will gradually change to ice pellets later today then to snow this evening.<br/><br />'Due to the slow movement of this system all precipitation forms will give significant accumulations over their respective regions. Many hours and significant accumulation of freezing rain and ice pellets are expected over central and southern regions today.'<br/><br />CBC meteorologist Peter Coade said the weather system could affect the province for another day or two.<br/><br />'This disturbance affecting us, it's not a very intense one, but it's a very large one,' said Coade, noting that radar shows the system extending as far south as New Jersey and Delaware.<br/><br />The weather also resulted in some flights being cancelled and other cancellations being reported to the CBC Storm Centre.<br/><br />Highway officials say the Trans-Canada Highway between Fredericton and Moncton is passable, but motorists are advised to wait until noon or later to travel if possible.<br/><br />'Motorists on the highway this morning would experience snow-covered roads that will also have icy and slushy patches throughout,' said Felicia Murphy of Brun-way, the company that maintains the Trans-Canada from west of Fredericton to the Quebec border.<br/><br />In Saint John, some streets were closed Monday due to localized flooding. Affected streets were:<br/><br />Westmorland Road from McAllister Drive to Downey Ford Ashburn Lake Road Various parts of Rothesay Avenue (including the underpass at Rothesay Road) A small section at the end of Dominion Park Road. Most schools close<br/><br />Schools closed in most of the province.<br/><br />All schools are closed in Anglophone West, Anglophone East and Anglophone North school districts.<br/><br />In the Anglophone South school district, schools opened, except those in the St. Stephen area.<br/><br />However, it was then decided that schools in Anglophone South will be shutting down for the day two hours earlier than usual.<br/><br />Elementary school students were scheduled to be dismissed at 11: 45 a.m., followed by middle school students at 12:30 p.m. and high school students at 1:30 p.m.<br/><br />Schools in Francophone North-East and Francophone North-West are also closed. Well initially I did, but there is a promo code of VERIZON30 that drops the note 3 down to 209.99. I bought the Note 3 for myself and the LG G2 for my wife. Needless to say, at the price of 139.99 for the G2 and 209.99 for the Note 3, we returned the G2 for the note 3 despite the G2's incredible low light camera performance. Here is why.<br/><br />Backstory: prior to buying the note 3 I have had the Droid Razr Maxx, which for its time was a great device. Now that apps are becoming more memory intensive, something needed to change. I needed a phone that wouldn't lag on me, and I really don't care about gimmicks such as scrolling while looking up or down, or pausing a video if I look away. Who really cares about that stuff? If I want to pause, I tap on the screen, which is less time consuming that looking away and ensuring my phone has paused playing a video. In addition, I really don't want that front facing camera on unless I am using it. Also, I was always reluctant to buy a Samsung phone because of the plastic build, but you know I always keep my phone in a safe case. I will talk about this a little later.<br/><br />Now, right before I let go of my razr maxx, I briefly upgraded to the note 2 for 2 days. I chose the note 2 because I was in best buy and was comparing the HTC ONE which best buy had on sale for $50 and all of a sudden I decided to listen to the note 2's speaker. I was blown away in comparison to the razr maxx, but blown away which how much more I got in comparison to the HTC one. We are all going to large screens now, and frankly who the heck wants to hold the phone closer to their face? I certainly don't so I upgraded to the note 2. I really did not fall in love with it until the day I was sitting in my senior human cadaver anatomy course, and realized I had forgotten my Anatomy atlas and my notebook. I frantically searched the note 2 and found an app called S Note. I opened S note and began using it. I was blow away, there are blood vessels that are large and really thing, and I used to be able to only differentiate that on paper. Not this time, with the note 2 I was able to use the thin and thick lines as differentiators thanks to the S-pen. I then made my decision that I would return the note 2 and wait for the note 3 because of the larger screen, and faster processor. In addition, I had a memory intensive Anatomy app running on the note 2 that smoothly ran it, when my HP touchpad running android decided to begin hiccupping.<br/><br />Now with all that said, this is why I feel the note 3 is the best choice on the market. First of all, if your going to purchase a phone that you are spending your hard earned money on it, it should be in the most secure and safest cases. It's an investment, that when 2 years later you sell back, you can almost pay for your new device. Second of all, we will ALL drop our phones at SOME POINT, and its important to protect them. I purchased the Spigen Bounce case despite it being slightly ugly; I got the gray one because Incipio NGP tpu cases are NOT yet available for this phone. That case kept my razr maxx in like new condition.<br/><br />Now, I really protect my phone because I have my entire life on it, my class schedule, my hospital schedule, my family schedule, my kids doctors appointments, my appointments, my tests etc. EVERYTHING. So I needed a phone that was behind me 100% and never let me down. It has been the case with the note 3. I have customized it and it still hasn't hiccupped yet.<br/><br />Now the actual review:<br/><br />Screen & Productivity: The large display is fantastic. It is large enough to hold a full month calendar on one home screen and 3 days on another. I absolutely love the vivid screen because my anatomy apps, as well as using it to take notes is an absolute breeze. My only recommendation is to add many pages before you begin in lecture or whatever you want to take notes in.<br/><br />There are many times where I find inspirational quotes on Facebook (FB) and wish I could save them and tag them to share not via FB but text messages etc. Scrap book has allowed me to do just that, I can share inspirational quotes and pictures with anyone and it's a breeze to look them up by placing my OWN PERSONAL tags for each photo. I hold the menu button, type inspiration and BAM; I have all my things that are tagged inspirational.<br/><br />Sometimes I also need a list of diagnostic medical conditions, and it's easy to quickly create a scrapbook memo or create a flow chart in S-note. Etc. In fact the other day, I was talking to Verizon and needed to write down the conformational code etc. for my second note 3, and you know what I did? I was on the dialer page, pulled out the S-pen and circled the page, then I notated it with all the information, it contains the date, the time, and all the information I need to have in case something went awry.<br/><br />I absolutely love this feature and it is very important.<br/><br />Another feature I love is that when I am on YouTube, I can load HD very quickly, the LG g2 did a good job in this too, but the razr maxx despite being an LTE phone did not handle this very well. Another thing I really love on this phone straight out of the gate is that it tells me how many text messages I have (like an unread count). Its something I like, it also has many accounts built right in, such as amazon, Facebook etc. I was able to disable most of the bloat ware by going to manage applications and clicking disable in some of the pre-loaded Verizon apps.<br/><br />The IR blaster is great, I've already started using it on all my TV's however, it wont turn the volume up on my LG TV but do every else. In addition, I am able to have in memory which room has which TV and so when I switch rooms, I also switch rooms on my phone, which allows me to use it as a remote. Great when you have to hide the remote from your little ones.<br/><br />Battery Life: Used it for an entire day hardcore, and its still at 31% at the end of the day after about 6 am to 1 am usage.<br/><br />UPDATE 10.23.13- see the attached screen shot of battery usage. I was pretty impressed. I do know for a fact though that S- health eats battery life like crazy.<br/><br />Also I LOVE the speaker placement on the bottom of the phone, because it's just smart. When I hold my phone, it cups around the speaker channeling the sound directly to me, and not the entire audience behind my phone. Smart.<br/><br />People have complained about the flip board app, but keep in mind, this is android and not IOS. We have choices here. Download an app called home 2 shortcut and it allowed me to configure double tapping the home button to start Google now rather than anything else. Its fantastic and a great use of android capabilities.<br/><br />(I will update more here)<br/><br />The S-pen I received was faulty with my phone, and so Verizon sent me a brand new one for free. Not taking off stars for that, during the pre-order stage stuff like that happens every once in a while. The Spen was completely usable I just had to add a little extra pressure. But no worries, it's taken care of and all is well.<br/><br />The power button has a slight lag when you just tap it to turn on the screen; if you give it a robust tap it comes on quicker. It is quickest to turn on the screen using the home button when it's sleeping. It kind of irritates me that it is that way.<br/><br />NOTE 10.23.13 It maybe quicker to use the HOME button to do the same thing.<br/><br />I wish Samsung allowed customization of the LED colors for the types of notifications.<br/><br />Note 10.23.13 Re: reception issues- I know people have complained about reception issues, but truly I haven't had many. Just a couple here and there. I think the reality is that the Note 3 is SLOW at switching networks etc. So rather than wait, I have just downloaded a refresh network app, which does what I need in less than 15 seconds and gives me a fresh connection. I don't see it as much of an inconvenience especially because the many positives of this device outweigh this one negative. I haven't had no reception anywhere.<br/><br />Tethering by the has been pretty amazingly fast with this phone, and it DOES NOT GET HOT!!!! I love that! My razr maxx used to be a meteorite when it was tethering.<br/><br />More to come.<br/><br />UPDATE 12.13.13<br/><br />I apologize it has been a while to update. I absolutely still love this phone, and I wouldnt change much about my review. I will say that I have experience reception issues but they are SOOO SELDOM, I believe ive refreshed the network about 4-5 times since I have wrote the initial review and now.<br/><br />Ive been informed that there IS an app that allows you to customize the colors of the LED to what you want. Excellent, so thats definitely a negative taken away.<br/><br />I had been using my phone with a Spigen screen protector and initially I liked it, but now with using the S-pen and it aging I really am beginning to dislike that screen protector. I have just ordered a tempered glass screen protector and will update later about that.<br/><br />ONE thing I have learned is to save EVERYTHING from action memo to Scrapbook or S-Note if you want to hold onto it in case your phone needs to be reset. I had to reset my phone once, but it was due to the FoxFi app and it causing certificate issues. Once I reset it it fixed it.<br/><br />Another note, the Spigen case protector I was talking about, it is great, however I have found that the squared edges make it uncomfortable for my hand to hold, when I remove the case I can handle the phone pretty easily with one hand (even though I have hands on the smaller side). So I have ordered a case that has rounded edges rather than squared edges.<br/><br />Whatever you do, do NOT get a metal case for your phone because it will reduce your signal quality.<br/><br />Other than that the phone has been running great, and I will update it again soon!</div><br /></div>

And, typical of their reputation, it was the Cubs who lost the first challenge in MLB history.<br/><br />At least losing is something they're accustomed to.<br/><br />Samardzija, the Cubs starting pitcher and a former college wide receiver, bunted back to the pitcher during the fifth inning of Monday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Francisco Liriano fielded the bunt and threw to third base for a force out, then Pedro Alvarez threw across the diamond trying to finish the double play at first.<br/><br />Samardzija signaled that he was safe as he crossed first base, but first base umpire Bob Davidson called him out. Renteria came out and eventually called for the play to be reviewed at the $30 million MLB review compound in New York City. The umps in NYC agreed with Davidson, and upheld the call.<br/><br />As such, the Cubs lost their challenge for the game. Had they got it right, the Cubs would have retained the right to challenge again. Worth a note: under the new rules, umpires can initiate reviews themselves after the seventh inning, so a team isn't necessarily out of luck once it loses its challenge.<br/><br /><br/><br /><br/><br />Reviewing the play took a minute and 40 seconds - from the time the broadcasting crew said there was a challenge to when the umpires confirmed the call on the field. Instead, most of the on-screen violence was human on human.<br/><br /><br/><br />Video<br/><br />Video<br/><br />Video<br/><br />All spoiler alerts apply from this point onward.<br/><br />The entire fourth campaign of The Walking Dead has focused on character-building, starting with the season-opener that found the once strong and united group of survivors lead by sheriff Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) separated and cast to the wind following the attack on their prison sanctuary.<br/><br />Last night's finale began with a flashback to the good ol' days back at the prison, with the sage - and since decapitated - Hershel (Scott Wilson) dispensing some of his trademark wisdom to Rick.<br/><br />Cut to Rick sitting on the hood of a car, covered in blood and clearly shocked at something horrible he has just done.<br/><br />The timeline then shifts backward slightly to show Rick, son Carl (Chandler Riggs) and Michonne (Dani Gurira) trudging along a country road en route to the supposed survivor Shangri-La known as Terminus.<br/><br />Out of the blue, Carl asks his father, 'Who are we?' As in: Are we the good guys now or the bad guys?<br/><br />Soon after, the trio is ambushed by a group of thugs that have been tracking Rick since he strangled one of them in abandoned house three episodes before. As it happens, the marauders have Rick's former compadre Daryl (Norman Reedus) among their ranks.<br/><br />Daryl pleads for his friends' lives, but receives only a beating for his efforts. Rick goes all in and goes berserk against the marauders, biting out a junk of their leader's neck and spitting it out in disgust. Daryl and Michonne dispatch the rest.<br/><br />As often happens on The Walking Dead, the shocking brutality is immediately followed with a greeting card-like moment: Rick tells Daryl that he is his brother, thereby filling some sort of void that Daryl has felt since his real brother Merle's death. Aw...<br/><br />Later in the episode, Michonne reveals to Carl the reason why she originally dragged her child's father and his friend around as armless, jaw-less zombie walkers: As it turns out, the two men had smoked marijuana and in their incapacitated state had allowed her son to be killed.<br/><br />Carl responds by telling Michonne that there's a monster inside of him as well.<br/><br />More flashbacks are thrown into the mix. Viewers learn that it was originally Hershel's idea for Rick to abandon violence and become a farmer.<br/><br />From there, Rick leads the group to Terminus and realizes the compound isn't quite the safe place it promised to be after he spots one of the guides wearing Glenn's watch and riot gear.<br/><br />Rick, Carl, Michonne and Daryl attempt to escape but are immediately surrounded by the Terminus leader Gareth and his goons. Hot News: This Rotten Week: Predicting Captain America: The Winter Soldier Reviews

If you don't like critically-acclaimed, action-packed, humanizing versions of beloved comic book characters then you can just stop reading (and get your brain checked). This week Cappy is back.<br/><br />Just remember, I'm not reviewing these movies, but rather predicting where they'll end up on the Tomatometer. Let's take a look at what This Rotten Week has to offer.<br/><br />I'll admit that when I first heard about Captain America as a live action movie I was skeptical. Cap had long been on the sidelines of my own comic book interests and just never felt like a character who'd translate well the the current landscape of comic book movies. But the general 'corniness' of the character was dealt with deftly in the original, finding ways to make fun of the costume and demeanor in order to address the 'dated' nature of Steve Rogers and his quasi-alter ego. I liked (didn't love) the original, but that was enough. Now? Well, we are talking something all new here. Because this sequel looks pretty badass.<br/><br />Want to see what I mean? Check out the trailer for <i>Captain America: The Winter Soldier</i>:<br/><br />Seemingly gone is the over-reliance on one-liner jokes and comic book-y nature that I thought held back the original (and <i>The Avengers</i> a bit*). This version of Captain America, a guy struggling to adjust to his future and at odds with both external threats and those within S.H.I.E.L.D. looks tough, gritty and dramatic. Packed with action but also willing to identify with some of those struggles that come from a superhero's global responsibility, <i>The Winter Soldier</i> (even the title marks a shift in tone) could soon enter the short list of great comic book movies.<br/><br /><i>*I'm prepared to get skewered for not bowing to the altar of Whedon and The Avengers. I'm in the minority of course, I just didn't think it was a fantastic comic book film. I prefer the grittiness to jokiness.</i><br/><br />The early score on <i>The Winter Soldier</i> is near perfect, sitting at 94% through more than fifty reviews. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, one would have expected more of a comedy as their style in television ( <i>Community</i>, <i>Arrested Development</i>) and film ( <i>You, Me and Dupree</i>) wouldn't have one thinking they'd have cut any teeth on the dramatic/ action front. Wrong. <div xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'><img height="300" src="http://cdn.filmschoolrejects.com/images/grade_a_minus.gif" width="100%"/><br/><br />Captain America should be the most boring lead in the ongoing cinematic superhero cavalcade - he's a goody two shoes who fights with a shield, wears an excessively patriotic costume, and by all accounts has never been laid - and yet, over the course of three films he's quickly become the most entertaining, exciting to watch, and affecting of the bunch by a wide margin. (Your move Superman.)<br/><br />It takes nothing away from the writers and directors of those films to acknowledge that the biggest key to the character's onscreen success can be found in the man behind the mask, <strong>Chris Evans</strong>. His charisma, appeal, and physical presence combined with the character's personality and tragic circumstances make for a compelling and fun superhero whose humanity shines through far more often than heroes who spend half their screen-time as CGI creations.<br/><br /><strong>Captain America: The Winter Soldier</strong> sees Steve Rogers/Captain America (Evans) still trying to fit in to the modern world while working for SHIELD on a regular basis. His latest mission leads to yet another conflict with Nick Fury ( <strong>Samuel L. Jackson</strong>) over his and SHIELD's priorities and methods in fighting the war on terror. Rogers thinks criminals should be punished after a crime has been committed, but Fury says they can't afford to wait that long. The arrival on scene of a mysterious and legendary assassin, the Winter Soldier, shakes things up even further, and soon Captain America is fighting not only for the lives of millions but for his past, his integrity, and every core belief he holds dear.<br/><br />Frequently teamed with Black Widow ( <strong>Scarlett Johansson</strong>), Rogers is in a rut of leading missions, saving the day, and then returning to his lonely life and apartment. He makes a new friend, Sam Wilson ( <strong>Anthony Mackie</strong>), while jogging around the Lincoln Memorial's Reflecting Pool, and makes a half-hearted attempt at asking out his neighbor ( <strong>Emily VanCamp</strong>), but most of his down time is spent alone. He visits the Smithsonian Institution's 'Captain America' room, but images of Peggy Carter ( <strong>Hayley Atwell</strong>) and Bucky Barnes ( <strong>Sebastian Stan</strong>) only serve to remind him of what he's lost.<br/><br />He's a hero in a soul-searching flux, and while it's something we've seen before in Tony Stark/Iron Man grappling with his identity and responsibilities, Rogers is in more tragic straits because he's a hero in circumstances well beyond his own choosing. The First Avenger showed us his origin as a great man wanting to do good and paying for it by being violently torn away from the world he knew and loved, and The Avengers found him continuing to fight the good fight but having to do it in a world with modified morals and ethical shortcuts. Everything we've learned about him and everything he's learned about himself comes to a head in The Winter Soldier, and the result is an exciting, humorous, topical, and surprisingly touching thrill ride that raises the bar terrifically high for the rest of this year's summer blockbusters. (You know, once summer actually begins.)<br/><br />Evans remains the ultimate star of the film thanks to his ability to shift effortlessly from highly capable action star to ridiculously charming funny man. He's at his best in roles that combine physical presence with sense of humor, and that best has never been better than it is here. While Evans is the center of it all, the ensemble cast around him also gets the chance to shine. <strong>Robert Redford</strong> shelves his liberal heart for a moment as the Director of U.S. Security, a role that it's fun to imagine as a 'Where Are They Now?' follow-up to Three Days of the Condor. The two biggest benefactors, thanks to their expanded roles, are Johansson and Jackson. Black Widow kicks a lot of ass, Jackson finally gets to actually act and get his hands dirty as Fury, and while both get their fair share of serious and funny moments they also get to play a much bigger role in the action. Mackie soars as well both as a hero in his own right and as a friend for Rogers.<br/><br />Oh the action. The sweet, sweet, wonderfully choreographed and shot action that relies heavily on hand to hand combat and practical effects with CGI assists instead of wall to wall animation devoid of personality and human weight... it is unexpected and glorious.<br/><br />From the opening actions sequence featuring Captain America and Black Widow storming a hijacked ship to a one vs ten elevator brawl to a car chase through Washington D.C., the action scenes feel immediate and alive in ways that CGI heroes flying about dodging CGI baddies simply can't. Of course there are scenes that rely heavily on CG work, particularly in the third act, but even then we never lose sight of the human faces participating in the fight. While their mastery of comedic timing is well documented (and put to frequent use here), co-directors <strong>Anthony and Joe Russo</strong> have nothing on their resume to hint at such effective action chops. Fights are a mix of the brutal and acrobatic, bigger sequences are shot and edited so we can actually tell exactly what's happening and to whom, and we rarely feel a step or two removed by CGI or obvious stunt doubles.<br/><br />That humanity amid the chaos is absent from these types of films far too frequently, and its presence here infiltrates the story and characters to equally positive effect. Steve Rogers remains the only hero to hit true emotional beats that go beyond the superficial, and while others have faced loss and important decisions only Rogers has seen his life swept away with no hope of return. He's faced here with both his beliefs and his connections to the past being shattered and crushed before his eyes, with the possible loss of his only remaining relationships, and the script (by <strong>Christopher Markus</strong> and <strong>Stephen McFeely</strong>) and Evans' performance make those losses more poignant than anything the Marvel universe has accomplished before. Watch Rogers' visible pain (and Evans' accompanying acting) at his friend's hospital bedside, and then try to remember anything in these films even remotely as touching.<br/><br />I'm no comic or Marvel fanboy (as evidenced by some of my past reviews), but this is magnificent and wondrous entertainment. Many of these films stumble in the third act as the desire for spectacle tends to replace the drive for quality, but the biggest issue here is a comic-book simplicity that pervades some of the later events and action presumably for the sake of expediency. Certain actions should be a hell of a lot more difficult and complicated than they are. And, not for nothing, but with everything at stake here I still take issue with the idea that certain other members of the Avengers wouldn't be called in to help. I get that this is a solo film blah blah, but in the shared universe (and with this story-line in particular) it makes zero sense that someone wouldn't speed dial Iron Man to lend a hand.<br/><br />I'm intentionally leaving out the vast majority of the film's details, both plot turns and cameos, not just to avoid spoilers but also because the film is a near non-stop torrent of memorable moments and scenes best discovered while watching. There's not a dull minute to be found here between the expertly crafted action sequences, plot revelations lifted equally out of the comic books and the New York Times, character moments, and legitimately funny laughs. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is big, spectacular entertainment that manages to stay grounded even as the action turns to explosive spectacle. It's the kind of summer blockbuster we always hope for but so rarely seem to get, and it just may be the absolute best of the Marvel films so far.<br/><br /><strong>The Upside:</strong> Chris Evans; spectacular action sequences; heavy reliance on practical effects; Nick Fury finally put to good use; strong sense of humor; excellent challenge to the good captain's loyalty, integrity, and loneliness; solid work from Scarlett Johansson<br/><br /><strong>The Downside:</strong> Some comic book simplicity in third act; seriously, why wouldn't Iron Man show up for this?<br/><br /><strong>On the Side:</strong> There are two end credits scenes. The feeds have been down since Saturday morning, but rumors are still running rampant all over the internet. Let's get to the show and see if any of the rumors are correct.<br/><br />First we take a video trip through last week and the nastiness following the letter shredding and eviction. We watch as Arisa tells them Canada is the new Head of Household and Jon in the Diary Room telling Canada to get some blood on their hands and make some big nominations!<br/><br />We once again have Sabrina in the Diary Room bragging about how Ika is gone, her alliance is safe and her once again, her plan worked. We also have Andrew telling us that things are going to plan. And of course, we have Kenny talking about how things are going well and they just have to keep things going to plan. Then we watch once again, as they discover there is no HOH competition. Sabrina tells us that for the first time she feels out of control. Sarah tells us if Canada likes the First 5 they will be safe, if not, they are in trouble. Andrew loses it and is afraid he is going up. Jon tells us from the DR that Andrew knows what he has said and done so far this season. Kenny talks about First 5 not having any power. Arlie loves it that Canada is HOH and hopes to help them take out at least three of them. Jon guarantees he is not close to Andrew and Kenny, he is only close with Neda. Neda tells Jon if she were a viewer she would put up Kenny. Jon tells us he is going to work with Neda in the game, emotional standpoint and personally. Jon tells Neda not to worry and reassures her he doesn't think it will be one of them (him or Neda). He says he fully trusts her and knows she will have his back this entire game.<br/><br />Sabrina and Sarah talk about the twist. Sabrina thinks it will be all floaters going up. Sarah hopes they like the First 5 enough not to put them up. Sabrina whines about how she has done literally everything to keep the First 5 safe. Sarah says she doesn't need Sabrina getting carried away before they know what is happening.<br/><br />Adel tells us he is depressed by Ika's leaving and he is stuck on his own. He says he misses her sense of humor and having their good times. In the Have Not room, he imitates her in the back yard. He tells Ika that she is like his blood sister and blood is thicker than water and to say hi to her family and she will be his life-long friend. He sings about being lonely and having no one in this house, but vows to fight no matter what.<br/><br />We are then 'treated' to the house guests singing the Canadian National Anthem was the flag is displayed on all five TV screens in the living room. Sabrina tells us for the first time she fells they were all together. After the singing, they get to see our HOH room. There are donuts, snacks and lots of beer. Our HOH room is fabulous. The house guests will get one hour a day in the HOH room.<br/><br />Sabrina talks to Arlie and asks his opinion about who is going up. He says she is insecure and needs to hear he has her back. She tells him she thinks it will be Andrew because of the showmance. Arlie tells her what she wants to hear... that Andrew and Allison or maybe Jon and Adel. He tells us he thinks she is at the top of the list and really hopes she goes up. She has way too big a head in the game and needs a reality check! Sabrina tells Arlie how she has been doing everything to keep their alliance safe...<br/><br />Kenny says up to this point, how they were being perceived had not effect, but now they have to look back on what they have said and done. He talks about hiding the fact he is gay is strictly game play and hopes they don't hold that against him. Sabrina says she would be heart broken to be taken out by Canada. Jon loves Canada and hopes the feeling is mutual. Neda doesn't want to be perceived as one of the mean girls. Sarah says she does not like the behavior or bullying but is trying to keep her head above water in the game.<br/><br />Arlie, in the storage room, worries about the First 5 being in trouble and is interested to see what Canada wants and will help him choose which side he will work with. He thinks Kenny, Sabrina and Andrew are in trouble. He would love to see Sabrina gone, Andrew second and have no blood on his hands. He thinks if this happens, in two weeks the house will be his and they won't be able to stop him.<br/><br />Time for the Have/Have Not Competition. High School Prom. There are three teams of 3. Adel and Jon are a team since there are not enough people. Heather hosts the competition. They will have to sake their money makers. One member of each team has one minute to act out dances. The team with the least amount of points will be on slop. Arlie, Sabrina and Rachelle are the Aqua team. Sabrina is dancing, Arlie and Rachelle get to guess. Kenny, Allison and Neda are the Orange team. Kenny dances, Allison and Neda guess. They get 6 out of 10. Andrew, Heather and Sarah are the pink team. Andrew dances, Heather and Sarah guess. They get 9 out of 10. Adel and Jon are the yellow team. Adel dances, Jon guesses. Adel passes on most of the dances... Jon tells us they are screwed. They get 2 out of 10 and are the Have-Nots for the week. (What a funny competition to watch!) The Pink Team is the winning team and gets an after-prom dinner.<br/><br />Arisa announces that when the Fan Meter reaches 6 million, there will be a chance to find a hidden Veto!<br/><br />After the Have-Not competition, Neda asks Jon why he is so angry. She takes him aside and calms him down so he won't blow up his game. She is happy that building a relationship with Jon is also helping her game. The Pink Team sits down to their steak dinner. Sarah is excited for the dinner, but not the company... when she talks about it, the camera focuses on Heather. We have a video diary of how the house guests hated their slop. Adel doesn't seem to mind it, although it does look gross - comes to them in a big pot already cooked... ew. Sabrina telling people not to eat in front of her when she is on slop, crying about only having one slop cookie all day and the DR won't let her in... Allison complains about how cold the Have Not room is - calls it a polar vortex. Jon tries to stand up and hits his head on the ceiling.<br/><br />Neda and Jon talk about how happy they can finally start playing the game. Jon tells us he hopes Canada will open things up. They promise to start playing this game hard! Kenny still running around in his underwear and stops to talk with Sarah who complains about Andrew and how hard it is to put up with him. Kenny defends him saying he is ok one on one, but a d*** in front of others. Outside, Allison and Andrew worry about him going up. He says this could decide his game. Allison tells him if he goes up, fight like hell for the POV. Allison tells us she would be sad if he leaves and she would have to change up her game plan.<br/><br />Time for Nominations!! Heather hopes that Canada won't put her on the block. Sabrina brags about having always known who was going up and who would get backdoored and now for the first time, she has no idea what is going to happen. Kenny whines about having no control for the first time and says he is s*tting a brick. Andrew worries he looks like the bad guy. Allison says it is nerve wracking to find out what Canada thinks of them...<br/><br />Arisa is on stage (no audience) for the nomination ceremony. She takes us inside the house to announce the nominees. Arisa tells them it is time to get down to business. She tells them that Heather and Arlie are both safe. She tells Kenny he is safe. She tells Andrew and Sarah that one of them has been nominated, then tells Sarah she is safe. Andrew is nominated! Arisa then tells Neda and Adel they are both safe. She tells Jon he is safe, Allison is also safe. Rachelle is crying. Arisa says it is down to Rachelle and Sabrina and one of them is safe. She tells Rachelle she is safe. Sabrina has been nominated!<br/><br />Andrew and Sabrina have been nominated by Canada.<br/><br />Arisa tells them they will have a chance to compete for Power of Veto and the ceremony is complete. Sabrina says she has done too much so far to go home now. Jon loves the nominations!. That is amazing.<br/><br />* The camera stores images on SD memory cards so pictures can be shared with a computer that way too.<br/><br />* Using the WiFi one can also upload photos directly to social networks or email.<br/><br />* I used the free Apple app Camera Window to connect with my iPod 5g and it worked better than the Canon suggestions found in the DVD instruction manual.<br/><br />* Paring with a PC computer is a bit tricky, but it can be done by ordinary mortals.<br/><br />* The display window on the camera is large and bright.<br/><br />* The 330HS movies are excellent and there are a number of shooting options available.<br/><br />* There is even full HD video in stereo sound available.<br/><br />* The fit and finish are very good and that means this is a solid high quality camera.<br/><br />Cons:<br/><br />* Setting up the WiFi feature is not all that easy even though some of it is automatic.<br/><br />* WiFi photo transfer is somewhat slow, but no problem.<br/><br />* The camera controls are not made for large fingers.<br/><br />* I miss the manual shooting mode wheel--poking around on screen based options is too slow to be useful if scenes, locations and objects change rapidly.<br/><br />* The instruction manual on the provided DVD is confusing for setting up WiFi.<br/><br />* The Hybrid movie feature is strange and seems to have limited purpose.<br/><br />* I have yet to determine what the body of this camera is made of. It seems very light in weight which suggests plastic, but maybe aluminum.<br/><br />* One can get bogged down and confused by the myriad of options available and it is difficult to find the way back out of unwanted settings. There is a way to re-set everything just in case.<br/><br />That is about all of the first impression information I can offer. I plan to carry my new ELPH 330 HS to Europe later in the spring and hope to take advantage of the WiFi features for sending photos back home to friends and relatives while I am traveling abroad.<br/><br />UPDATE:<br/><br />I have just returned from two weeks in Great Britain and almost 700 photos taken with my Canon ELPH 330 HS and I was very satisfied with the how it performed. This little camera did everything I asked of it. Transferring all of those pictures to my iPad and to my Windows 7 laptop via WiFi was a perfect addition to the many other features. I am even more impressed with this camera after putting it to a very rigorous test. I bumped the camera around a lot on our trip and without a case on it. I even dropped it once and it kept on ticking. As a travel camera it is the best of the bunch as far as I am concerned.</div><br /></div>

'And they agreed to let us do that for a couple years, and somewhere in all of that, we signed a record deal with Neil Young and Elliot Roberts. Has Daryl gone over to the dark side? Is Terminus all that it's cracked up to be? And finally, will Team Prison ever reunite? The March 30 finale was packed with a fair bit of resolution, an insane amount of gore, and left us hanging with several more questions to tide us over until the Season 5 premiere in October. Read on for our full recap! 'The Walking Dead' Finale Recap - Carl: 'Who Are We?'<br/><br />The March 30 finale, 'A,' opens at the prison in a flashback which sees Hershel ( <strong>Scott Wilson</strong>) alive. Rude, show. Rude.<br/><br />Present. Rick ( <strong>Andrew Lincoln</strong>), Michonne ( <strong>Danai Gurira</strong>), and Carl ( <strong>Chandler Riggs</strong>) walk through the forest on their way to Terminus. 'When we get there, are we gonna tell 'em?' Carl asks. 'Tell them what?' Michonne asks. 'Everything that's happened to us. All the stuff we've done. Are we gonna tell them the truth?' 'We're gonna tell them who we are,' Rick answers. Carl persists, asking, 'but how do you say that? Who are we?' Just then, a Walker comes out of the bush and Carl's question is answered: they're Walker-killers. And regular killers. That's who everybody is, now.<br/><br />Take Our Poll<br/><br />As Rick teaches Carl how to tie a slipknot, they hear cries for help. Carl, our youngest Walking Dead character with a death wish, takes off into a clearing to help out a man surrounded by Walkers. About to shoot, Carl is dragged away by Rick who tells him that they can't help him. They watch the man get eaten alive.<br/><br />Flashback to the prison, to happier, more alive times. Rick is getting ready for the day and Hershel tells him he's not going to need his gun holster. Oh, Hershel. The prison flashbacks are a sharp contrast from the present timeline, and it hurts.<br/><br />Present. It's nighttime. Carl and Michonne are suddenly ambushed during a quiet conversation by Joe ( <strong>Jeff Kober</strong>) and his merry band of murderers. 'You messed up, a**hole,' Joe tells Rick while pointing his gun at Rick's temple. Well, yep, Rick is probably reconsidering a lot of things right now. 'The Walking Dead' Finale Recap - Rick Rips Out Joe's Throat With His Teeth; Carl Almost Gets Raped<br/><br />'Today's the day of reckoning, sir. Restitution. A balancing of the whole damn universe,' Joe announces to the group at large. For a guy who's really into murder, he's also super into karma. Carl is watching from the truck, silent, horrified. All of a sudden, Daryl (<strong>Norman Reedus</strong>) appears. Daryl tries to tell Joe that Carl and Michonne are good people, but Joe is not a listening kind of guy. Joe's men start to beat the crap out of Daryl, somebody pulls Carl from the truck with a knife to his neck, and Joe tells Carl 'first, we're gonna beat Daryl to death. Then we'll have the girl. Then the boy.' Surely that can't mean what we think it means.<br/><br />Rick manages to get the upper hand on Joe, they tussle for a while, and just when it looks like Joe is going to take Rick down, Rick rips out Joe's throat with his teeth. Looks like Rick has been taking lessons from the Walkers! Super horrifying lessons! Couldn't be more glad about this turn of events because one of Joe's men was about to rape Carl. Yep, we just typed those words. Someone was about to rape 14-year-old Carl. This finale is going super well so far!<br/><br />In their surprise, Michonne and Daryl manage to overtake their captors as well, and Rick guts Carl's attacker like a fish as Carl looks on with dead, dead eyes. 'The Walking Dead' Finale Recap - Michonne Reveals The Identity Of Her Original Pet Walkers<br/><br />Flashback. Prison. Hershel is telling Rick that it's time they start planting, bringing in and domesticating feral pigs and horses, and it's all quite sad. The dichotomy between the Farmer Rick we're seeing in the flashbacks and the Throat-Ripping Rick in the present is pretty heartbreaking. 'He needs his father to show him the way. What way are you going to show him? What's his life going to be? What's yours?' Hershel asks Rick.<br/><br />Present. Rick is leaning against the truck, bloodied, staring off into the middle distance. Daryl tries to explain, to tell Rick that he didn't know who Joe and his men were. We can't tell you how glad we are that Daryl is back on the side of the light.<br/><br />Daryl appears to be a bit overcome with guilt, but Rick tells him that it wasn't his fault, and that Daryl is his brother. Daryl looks at Rick with such open surprise and gratitude, in his own Daryl way, that it made us equal parts happy and sad. Daryl tries to tell Rick that what he did 'back there' wasn't him, but Rick is like, no, it definitely is.This is what his life is.<br/><br />Michonne and Carl walk through the woods and she reveals the identity of the original pet Walkers that she used to drag around with her. Turns out, they were her boyfriend and his friend - it was their fault that her son Andre died, and Michonne is only slightly more intense than Rick when it comes to protecting her kin. She explains that she had them with her as her own sort of punishment, as a reminder.<br/><br />Michonne tries to tell Carl not to be afraid of her, or of Rick, but she's got it wrong: Carl is not afraid of Rick. He's afraid of himself, of disappointing his father, because he's 'a monster, too.' 'The Walking Dead' Finale Recap - Team Rick Find Terminus<br/><br />Instead of opting for the front entrance, Team Rick break into a warehouse at Terminus and Gareth ( <strong>Andrew J. West</strong>) introduces himself, asking them to lay down their weapons. They side-eye each other for a million years before doing so. Letting go is hard to do. Everybody in this warehouse looks like they work at a Starbucks in Portland. Gareth is pretty cute - too bad he is almost definitely evil. We can feel it in the air.<br/><br />The gang meet Mary ( <strong>Denise Crosby</strong>), and Rick, Michonne, and Daryl are looking mighty suspicious of their surroundings. Eagle-eyed viewers will note that there were Terminus citizens wearing Maggie's (<strong>Lauren Cohan</strong>'s) poncho, Glenn's (<strong>Steven Yeun</strong>'s) armor, and when Rick spots Hershel's pocket watch, he pulls a gun from who knows where and holds it to the guy's head, demanding him to tell Rick where he got it.<br/><br />In the prison flashback, a boy Carl's age is playing a childish, lighthearted game. Carl is assembling a gun. Oh, Carl.<br/><br />Back to the tense present, there's a shoot-out after Gareth tries - and fails - to convince Team Rick that they came by their swag honestly. Team Rick begin to run like hell throughout the compound, and the camera pans past a pile of bones. OK, these guys are definitely cannibals, right? There were cannibals in the comics and in the video games, and now in the TV show. Cannibals. Our heroes are being corralled by the assault rifle-toting men on various rooftops.<br/><br />They enter a room filled with more candles than a Catholic church, with 'never again,' 'never trust,' and tellingly, 'we first, always,' written on the walls. Maybe they light a candle for every person they eat? Who knows! They try to leave by one entrance, but are corralled once more by their pursuers to another one. 'The Walking Dead' Finale Recap - Team Prison Reunite<br/><br />Out in the open again, Team Rick are totally surrounded. Gareth commands Rick to get into the nearby train car marked 'A'; if he doesn't, Carl will die. Daryl is also urged toward the car. Michonne next. Carl goes last, and then they're all in a dark train car together.<br/><br />And then Glenn comes out of the darkness! Sweet, sweet Glenn. Maggie, Bob ( <strong>Lawrence Gilliard Jr.</strong>), Sasha ( <strong>Sonequa Martin-Green</strong>), Eugene ( <strong>Josh McDermitt</strong>), Sgt. Abraham ( <strong>Michael Cudlitz</strong>) and Rosita ( <strong>Christian Serratos</strong>) are all there - even Tara ( Alanna Masterson), whom a lot of fans thought was not long for this world after entering what looks to be cannibal country as a lame horse.<br/><br />Maggie assures Team Rick that Rosita, Tara, Eugene and Sgt. Abraham are friends of theirs. 'Now they're friends of ours,' Daryl replies. Rick, kind of hilariously, says, 'they're gonna feel pretty stupid when they find out.' 'Find out what?' 'They're screwing with the wrong people.' Episode over. Whoa - that's it? Also, Rick, super sorry, but y'all are trapped in a darkened train car with no weapons. Not everybody has the stomach to rip a throat out with their teeth.<br/><br />A couple of questions:<br/><br />-Where's Beth? -Why is Rick so confident? -What are Carol and Tyreese up to?
