Sadly, former 'Dynasty' star Kate O'Mara died in a Sussex, England nursing home on March 30 following a short illness according to her agent.

In a statement her agent said 'a shining star has gone out.'
O'Mara's manipulative character on Dynasty made her show debut in '86, but only appeared on the TV soap for 2 seasons.
More recently, Kate acted in a stage play in 2012.
She also made a villainous appearance as the Rani in Dr Who with two doctors, Sylvester McCoy, and Colin Baker, a role she relished and one she said, when the program celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, she would have loved to return to.
