BIG BROTHER 16:
Tonight on RECAP FOR SUNDAY AUGUST 3, 2014 By honeySC Big Brother 16, two houseguests will be crowned Heads of Household and we will experience the most punishing Battle of the Block this season.
We open with a tie breaker question to determine the Heads of Household. The question is a number that will be the time in seconds for the Cowboy Veto competition from the time that it starts and the time that Hayden hit his buzzer. The answer is 560 seconds and both Donny and Nicole are the closest. They will be the new Heads of Households.
Zach is happy that he didn't win. Winning isn't his strategy and he doesn't want a bigger target on his back. Derrick is happy for Donny but realizes that Donny did not agree to do the last mission and he wants to see where his loyalty lies.
Jocasta cries at the loss of the competition because she really needs to see her family. She says that she can only see them in her mind, and although her faith is strong, she needs words and pictures to connect her with her family.
Donny and Nicole meet in the beehive and they both feel they can work together. Donny also wants Hayden to be a part of their conversations because he has connections that he doesn't have to the other side of the house.
Zach tries to elicit information from Nicole in the storage room, but she is not falling for it. He says that he is not targeting her and then asks if she is going to put up boys or girls. He says that he will not tell anyone and she just gives him the look. Everyone knows that Zach tells everyone everything.
Derrick and Frankie discuss their insecurities with Donny. They feel that he owes them because they lost out on the money from the last task because Donny didn't feel it would benefit his pesonal game.
Derrick gets Nicole alone to see where her head is regarding nominations. She mentions Frankie as a target because he is all over the house and in every conversation and Derrick agrees. Derrick tells us that when Nicole brings up Frankie to backdoor him, he agrees with her but tells us in the diary room that he is only agreeing with her to keep the conversation down. He tells us that he is adamently against Frankie going on the block.
Donny and Nicole reveal their HoH room. Nicole shares her letter and it is from her best friend, Mariah, who calls her chipmunk and tells her about home and how much she misses having her best friend to confide in. Donny shares his letter and he tears up as he reads it. It is a romantic letter where she tells him that she misses his kisses, snuggling, and that he means the world to her and she does not want to be without him ever again. Thank you for loving me. Donny says that it is the best day of his life.
Caleb is a bit nervous with Donny being an HOH because he has put him up in the past. Caleb tries to talk to Donny and he says that he was not the target. Donny says that he has a hard time believing that Paola was the especially since Devin told him that he was sorry for targeting him. Caleb says that Devin was targeting him and Donny repeats that Caleb put him up. He also says that the person going up may not be the target at all. Caleb changes tactics and says that if he did go up he would die if he went up with someone like Victoria. Donny tells us that Caleb should never have told him that.
Hayden and Nicole start a game of pool and Nicole is quite competitive. Hayden gets hit in his privates when Nicole's ball goes off the table. He teases that she might be jealous of Victoria.
Donny meets with Derrick in the beehive and tells him that they are one hundred percent safe this week. Frankie comes in and Donny tells him that he is safe. Frankie makes sure that he knows that it helps to make up for the mission they did not accept last week. Donny says that it will help America to trust them. Frankie tells us in the diary room that he is going to step back and let Donny run his own game this week as he knows that he will be safe. This will keep blood off his hands.
Hayden, Nicole, and Donny meet and they agree that Donny will nominate Victoria and Caleb while Nicole will nominate Jocasta and Zach. Hayden presents the various scenarios and assuming that Donny is dethroned and Zach wins the Power of Veto, who would she replace him with? She takes a deep breath and says, 'Frankie.' Hayden points out that Frankie is the root of everything that goes on in the house. Every move made has his hand in it. Donny tells us that he would never nominate a member of Team America, but he does feel that Frankie would backdoor him, so he would cast his vote to have him evicted if he was on the block.
Zach comes up to talk with Nicole, Caleb, and Christine. Nicole asks the others to leave and he tells her that he doesn't want to go up and he wants to let her know that she should put up weak players so that she will remain HOH and then have all her options open to backdoor whoever she wants to.
Nicole says that Zach wants to help her pick players who will help her remain HOH, but little does he know that she wants to backdoor his best friend, Frankie. Nicole really wants to shake things up. She does worry that if she nominates him, he must go home because with his influence in the house, her game will be over.
Donny, on the other hand, wants to get as little blood on his hands as possible, so that he is not presenting a bigger target in the weeks to come.
Nicole reveals her nominations, Zach and Jocasta. She nominated Jocasta for a game move and she loves her and she is sorry. She says that she looked up super villain and it was Evel Dick, and not him.
Donny nominates Caleb and Victoria. He nominated Caleb is because he was the first person to nominate him, tit for tat and if he remains in the house they will be even. He has nominated Victoria because of all the blood other people have spilled, his blood would be very diluted in her hands.
Zach is not happy at not being a super villain, Jocasta knew that the only way to stay off the block would have been to win. Zach says that if they are going to play cat and mouse, she is the mouse and he is going to be the cat coming after her. He says that if he wins HOH it will be her head on the chopping block.
Zach and Frankie have a conversation in the rock room. They discuss that they can just vote the others out and it doesn't matter. Zach looks forward to kicking some butt. Frankie lays against Zach and gets his snuggles.
Zach and Jocasta discuss the competition and how they need to talk with each other in the competition and stay focused. He says that he is glad that he is up with her and not Victoria. They hope that it is a mental competition.
Victoria and Caleb hate each other and when they talk Victoria says that they might have differences, but right now they are best friends. She says that the key to these competitions is communication and he can feel free to direct her and tell her what he is thinking. She says that this might make them closer in the house afterwards. He says that we are going to kick butt. To us, Caleb says that no one wants to be up with Victoria because she is not good at the competitions and if you lose it is because of her.
The houseguests go out in the back yard where they see a childhood fantasy. Christine hosts. She explains that they must build their dominoes to get to an end point and they must pass through three punishment dominoes as they make their domino path.
Punishments are: You may not compete in the next HoH competition, two weeks of slop, being chained with your partner as Adam and Eve, shaving your head, summer sing along, see no evil, hear no evil, manure bath.
Only winners will receive the Big Brother 16 punishments they selected when they chose their route. They will also dethrone their Head of Household who will fall in a tub of water.
Jocasta is doing well and moving nicely, and Derrick says that Victoria was moving well and probably hasn't moved that fast since Black Friday.
Both teams work their dominoes. Victoria and Caleb have selected to pass shave head, Adam and Eve, and 2 weeks of slop. On their second try, Victoria and Caleb succeed in hitting their buzzer with their dominoes.
Both Victoria and Caleb are safe this week, Donny is dethroned, and is dunked in the tub of water. They may be safe, but they must complete all three punishments. None are good, however Caleb thinks that the worst that could have happened is that he will be chained to Victoria for two days.
Zach says that it was his fault that they lost since he misjudged the corner turn. Jocasta says she will beat the block with the Power of Veto and Zach says that he plans on being here next week and Jocasta will be going home.
Join Big Brother 16 on Wednesday at 8 Eastern on CBS to watch the Power of Veto competition and watch to see who remains on the block, and if a replacement is nominated.
