Actress Sarah Goldberg, who worked on TV shows such as '7th Heaven' and 'Judging Amy' has died, according to the Chicago Sun-Times

The 40-year-old Chicago native passed in her sleep on Sept. 27 from natural causes, her mother told the newspaper. A heart ailment is the suspected cause of death, but an official cause of death could not be determined by an autopsy, her mother said.

Goldberg, also known as Sarah Danielle Madison, played Sarah Glass Camden, the wife of Matt Camden, the oldest son in 7th Heaven, a drama about a pastor and his family from 2002 to 2006, according to IMDB. She also played Dr. Heather Labonte on Judging Amy from 2002 to 2004 and a graduate student at a dinosaur dig site in 2001's Jurassic Park III.

Barry Watson, the actor who played Matt Camden, said goodbye to Goldberg on Twitter Tuesday.

#RIP Sarah. I will miss you always. Love Ya! B.

The news of Goldberg's death comes as 7th Heaven fans grapple with the allegations that the show's leading actor, Stephen Collins, who played pastor Eric Camden, admitted to molesting children. As a result of the claims, the network that has been running reruns of 7th Heaven, UPtv, pulled the show. Have something to add to this story? Share it in the comments.
