REAL MADRID V BARCELONA (Kick-off 20.00)

11.00 Hello. Clive Whittingham will be here from around 6.30pm to bring you all the team news and build-up from 'The Biggest Football Match in the World'. Real Madrid go into the match top of the table, three points ahead of Atletico and four above Barcelona. With 10 games to play this edition of El Clasico could scarcely be any bigger. While you wait for Clive to arrive why not have a read of Guillem Balague's brilliant interview with Real's English coach Paul Clement:

Englishmen often get a bad press abroad, usually for not learning the language. But not Paul Clement, a former PE teacher from south London who is now Carlo Ancelotti's right-hand man at Real Madrid.

Clement is the antithesis of the little Englander image.

This month, as Jesé and Isco prepared to come on as substitutes against Levante, Clement was seen issuing instructions to them both. Jesé is from the Canary Islands and Isco from Andalucia, areas of Spain known for having their own strong brogue.

Imagine a Spanish speaker with basic English conveying tactical information to, say, Paul Gascoigne and Gordon Strachan. And them answering back. Now you get the idea.

'Part of my role on the bench is when Carlo decides to make a change I have to let the players know what their responsibilities are in set play situations,' Clement says.

'Unless there is a player who speaks good English, for example Xabi Alonso, I always try to do it in Spanish, but with Isco or Jesé, I have to speak to them in Spanish.

I'm not sure its grammatically perfect but I check they understand and they say yes, and in most cases when they go on the field they are doing the jobs that I asked so that's pleasing.'
