TORONTO - Did Ika Wong have any idea the other Big Brother Canada houseguests were watching her destroy the letters from their families while pocketing the $5,000?

'Hell no! I had no idea,' she said Friday during an appearance on Global's The Morning Show.

'I thought I was going to have to explain why I shredded the letters and kept the cheque and I was going to lie, lie and deny. I had no idea they'd already seen all of that.'

Wong, 29, was the fourth competitor to get kicked out of the Big Brother Canada house in season two of the hit show.

She followed in the footsteps of Anick Gervais, Kyle Shore and Paul Jackson after an 8-1 vote. READ MORE: Full coverage of Big Brother Canada

Wong said her interactions with Adel Elseri were genuine.

'It was the most Ika you will ever see,' she explained. '[With] everybody else you see me fake crying, faking the funk, but with Adel it was 100 per cent real.'

The Thornhill, Ont. resident said she doesn't regret the way she got booted out.

'I am happy that Big Brother did this to me because at least I left with a bang,' Wong insisted, 'and I would not want to leave any other way.'
