After I buy this New Coleman Xtreme CX5HD-SXtreme Waterproof High Definition Action/Helmet Camera with Mounts Waterproof Video Camera with 2-Inch LCD (Silver) (Electronics)
I picked up one of these cameras from another site about a two months ago. If you can get this camera in the 35-60 range, it's a great deal as long as you understand what you are getting.
If you keep in mind the following, you will not be disappointed.
720p - while there are a lot of other cameras that offer better resolution, none of them are in this price range. If they are, they have a major issues.
Fixed Focal Length - there is no zoom. You cannot adjust this camera. Considering it's use, that isn't going to be a big problem for most people.
Waterproof - Water resistant is more accurate. There are a few cell phones out there now that are as waterproof as this camera. Do not go beyond a couple feet under water.
32gb SD Card - This is my biggest annoyance with this camera. 32gb isn't bad but it's not great either. Being able to use a 64gb card in a camera like this is a big bonus.
Cheap - This is not a high end camera. It's plastic and nothing about it screams quality. Then again, the price point is crazy low. You shouldn't expect high quality at this price point.
Overall this is a decent camera considering it's price point. It's a great entry level option for someone who has never had a camera like this. You can push it to it's limits and not care if you go too far.
