Sean Hanlon has come a long way.
According to People magazine, Ryan Gosling (who played Sean Hanlon on Breaker High, in the very high likelihood that the above non-'Hey Girl' Ryan Gosling joke went over your head) and his girlfriend Eva Mendes are expecting a child together, the couple's first and likely to be the world's most adorable.
'She's very independent but she's content with her partner,' an unnamed source, who reportedly confirmed the pregnancy, told People magazine of Mendes. 'She finally found the person she really wants to be with.'
Meanwhile, Ellen DeGeneres has tweeted congratulations to the couple on Twitter, writing that their baby-to-be is 'going to be the most beautiful, bilingual, part-superhero, well-dressed, romantic baby ever.'

Gosling, 33, and Mendes, 40, have been romantically linked since 2011, after meeting on the set of the film The Place Between the Pines. The couple don't often speak out about their relationship and rarely appear in public together.
