Your ability to enjoy this video will probably hinge on several factors. If you are a fan of the New York Yankees, and of their retiring shortstop, Derek Jeter, this video will deliver immense joy to your Monday morning.

If you are neither of those things, you still might enjoy the video for a string of celebrity cameos and images included to pay tribute to Jeter, and his place in New York sports lore. If you hate the Yankees, and do not have a strong stomach, you might want to skip this and carry on with your day.

According to Adweek, a hub for advertising and marketing news, the Nike commercial will air during baseball's All-Star Game on Tuesday night. From Adweek:

Jordan Brand marketers and W+K came up with the creative idea from Jeter's own routine in the batter's box. Along with his familiar raised right hand, Jeter tugs at his batting helmet as he faces the pitcher. What if Jeter saluted his opponent - and the world saluted back thought Nike marketers.

Jeter has been named a starter for the game on Tuesday night.

'It's never a situation where I expect to go to the All-Star Game,' he said recently, in The New York Times. 'I've never taken it for granted at all in my career in any time that I've gone. I've enjoyed each and every one of them.'

With all the attention Jeter will likely receive, your enjoyment of the All-Star Game will likely mirror your enjoyment of that video.
