'The Voice' semifinals eliminations Tuesday night determined the show's three finalists.

With an added twist this season, a fourth finalist was selected from all the singers that made up the top 12.

Matt McAndrew, Taylor John Williams, Craig Wayne Boyd, Chris Jamison and Damien made up the final five.

'Tonight, we're gonna find out which three of them will move on to the finals,' host Carson Daly said as the men awaited their fate onstage.

'It's the ultimate second chance,' he continued. 'For the first time an eliminated artist can get back into the show and possibly win the whole thing.'

After a quick look back at the semifinalists' performances from Monday night, Daly announced the first vocalist saved by America's votes.

'Your first finalist is,' he said. 'Chris Jamison from Team Adam.'

Three out of the final five were from Adam Levine's team. With Jamison advancing, the Maroon 5 front man still had Damien and McAndrew on the chopping block.

The second finalist announced was Blake Shelton's only artist, Boyd.

'Your third finalist is,' Daly said. 'Matt McAndrew for Team Adam. That is two for Adam in the finals.'

Jamison, Boyd, and McAndrew made up the final three. Williams and Damien still had a shot at the fourth wild card spot along with the other eliminated vocalists.

'I will reveal the fourth finalist tomorrow on the 'Today' show, which you should all be watching,' Daly said of the fourth finalist.

Singing 'Put Your Records On' by Corinne Bailey Rae was Team Blake's Reagan James.

'Damn, Reagan that was magical,' Pharrell Williams said.

'I'm still totally blown away that Regan is 16-years-old,' Shelton said of his young protégé.

Team Blake's Jessie Pitts returned to the show to sing 'Zombie' by the Cranberries for a chance at nabbing the fourth finalists spot.

'I missed you,' Gwen Stefani said. 'That song brings back so many memories and it's right in your lane.'

'There's not enough time to brag on Jessie,' Shelton said. 'She doesn't sound like anybody else.'

Team Gwen's Ryan Sill sang 'Marry Me' by Train. Sill made it past two Twitter instant saves before being eliminated. Now, he returned to take another shot at reentering the competition.

'I'm pretty sure she'll marry you,' Levine said pointing to a young woman in the crowd. 'I think you have such a beautiful voice.'

'I love when you sing right to me,' Stefani said. 'No one's ever done that to me before.'

Another Stefani singer, Anita Antoinette, was up to sing 'Waiting on the World to Change' by John Mayer. In her signature move, Antoinette added a reggae sound to the Mayer hit and also, surprisingly, a little jazz.

'That jazz run was crazy!' Levine said.

'You're such a beautiful person inside, you took this opportunity to lift,' Stefani said of her song choice. 'That's so selfless and so amazing.'

Singing 'Wicked Game' by Chris Isaak was Team Gwen's Williams, who was fighting to reenter the competition after making it to the top five.

'You have a way of putting all your ideas into motion,' Shelton said.

Coach Gwen was so happy with his performance and felt confident he could make it to the finals.

Team Adam's Damien sang 'Grenade' by Bruno Mars. He proved once again how powerful his voice is, taking on the Mars track with ease.

'That was so intense,' Williams said. 'The amount of control you have is so scary.'

'There is one more spot in the top four, one more spot. And it's Damien's,' Levine said confidently.

Singing 'Back to Black' by Amy Winehouse for her last chance to be in the finals was Team Pharrell's Sugar Jones.

Williams watched with tears in his eyes for what seemed to be one of his favorite singers of the season.

'That's all you should be doing in your life,' Stefani said about Jones' singing. 'You sang that perfectly beautiful.'

'Sugar, you just made this so much harder for everybody else,' Shelton added. 'That was so good.'

'America needs to vote and they gotta vote for you,' Williams said. 'When your mouth opens there's like this whole world of soul that comes out. I can't wait for us to work together.'

'Have a Little Faith in Me' by John Hiatt was sung by Team Pharrell's Luke Wade.

'I feel like for a minute there you were a little lost,' Levine said.

'He definitely found himself,' Williams said, backing Wade.

Team Pharrell's final vocalist, DaNica Shirey, took the stage to sing 'Without You' by Badfinger and made popular in the 1990s by Mariah Carey.

'Did you hear that sound?' Williams asked her, pointing to the cheering crowd. 'That's the sound of America voting you back.'

'There you have it,' Daly said. 'Voting in now open.'

The voting block was open throughout the night until 3 a.m. EST Wednesday morning.

As promised, Daly announced the fourth finalists on the 'Today' show Wednesday.

Team Adam's Damien gets to reenter the competition, giving Levine's squad an advantage with three vocalists in the finals.

The finals kick off Monday night.
