He is an actor.
He is a poker player.
He drives tanks over cars.
He is a trust-fund millionaire - the son of corporate raider Paul Bilzerian, who was convicted of fraud in 1989.
He is an Instagram star - indeed, the 'King of Instagram,' where he posts photos of an outrageous lifestyle that includes snapshots of romps with scantily clad women, weapons and private jets.
Sometimes all together.
But now, Dan Bilzerian, 34, stands accused of being something a lot less glamorous: a bomb-maker. The multi-hyphenate celebrity was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday on a warrant from Clark County, Nev., as the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
The charge: 'possessing component of explosive or incendiary device with intent to manufacture explosive or incendiary device and possession of explosive incendiary device,' according to the paper.
Bilzerian, who was released on bail, will appear in court on Jan. 9. He posted a light-hearted response to his brief detention on Twitter.

This is not Bilzerian's first brush with infamy. Earlier this week, he was accused of kicking a woman in the face during the Art Basel art show in Miami.
And it's only Thursday.
On Twitter, Bilzerian denied the charge.
'Actually 2 girls attacked a girl I was with to the point they gave her a black eye and threw her off the table and went after her, b/c they wanted to get closer to me,' he wrote.
This is not the first time Bilzerian was accused of violence against women.
Earlier this year, he was threatened with a lawsuit when he allegedly threw a porn star off of a roof during a shoot for Hustler magazine, breaking her foot.
You read that right.
Bilzerian's attorney wrote a memorable response - one that hints at Bilzerian's predisposition for blowing things up - to the porn star, who wanted a $85,000 payout for missed work. Via Gawker:
If she sues, the complaint will be sanctionably frivolous. Your client should just box up almost every last bit of her property (please exclude all videos and photographs, as well as the seemingly inevitable small yappy dog) and drop it off with you in safe keeping for Mr. Bilzerian. After he receives the judgment in his favor, he will have it all delivered to him. Then he will probably blow it up with a mortar in the desert. I enjoyed our brief correspondence.
The source of Bilzerian's wealth - his family, his gambling - is not a mystery. The source of his fame is harder to pin down.
'You are what they call an Internet sensation,' Howard Stern, who put Bilzerian's net worth at about $100 million, said earlier this year during an interview with the Florida native. '... The kids are talking about you because of your lifestyle, right? Are they jealous of you? Do they want to live like you? Are you the American dream?'
'I think there's a lot of people that are jealous, that kind of envy the lifestyle, or people that wish they had it,' Bilzerian said. 'I think there's a lot of mixed emotion about it.'
