Light snowfall is expected to begin Wednesday evening, continuing until Thursday morning, where it will be its heaviest and densest. It will ease by late Thursday morning.
The GTA is expecting to hit the 10 cm mark, reaching a maximum of 15 cm. Eastern Ontario is in a snowfall warning for 20-30 cm of snow, some of which is expected to push west into the GTA.
Not expecting much snow disruption for the drive tonight in #Toronto, but tomorrow a.m. could be extremely messy. Plan accordingly! #onstorm- The Weather Network (@weathernetwork) December 10, 2014 Are there warnings in effect?
Blowing snow will also be a concern with gusts from 50-60 km/h, reducing visibility when driving. WATCH BELOW: Police surprise drivers with WHAT? You won't believe this.
The GTA has been under a stormwatch alert since 6 a.m. Wednesday morning. Drivers are advised to take caution and leave extra time for travel before hitting the roads.
