Belle Knox, 18, sat down with Piers Morgan in order to express just how comfortable she is with her new nation-wide fame as a college freshman/porn star. Belle lives as any other student on campus except for when it comes to paying for classes and books. In order to foot the bill for all that comes with being a Duke Blue Devil Belle has chosen to become something that this country finds rather unladylike - a porn star!

After a classmate uncovered the bare truth about Belle, she opted to publicly reveal her identity in an article titled ' I'm the Duke University Freshman Porn Star And For The First Time I'm Telling The Story In My Words,' which she wrote for xoJane.com.

Thursday night Belle joined Piers Morgan Live to say that she felt empowered by her choice to join the adult film industry, reports CNN.

'We are in a society where we are so repressed, every single day. We're told that sex is bad,' Belle told Piers. 'To be in porn and to be able to be naked and to be able to be free and have that sexual autonomy, it is so incredibly freeing.'

Belle is a women's studies major at Duke and noted that the costs of attending the prestigious university exceeds 60 thousand dollars a year. For her, she claims, porn is significantly more profitable than traditional clock-punching, and it requires much less of her personal time.

'I think eighty percent of the world's traffic on the internet is pornography. And I think that probably every single person at some point in their life has watched pornography,' Belle later revealed to Piers. 'So I think it's extremely hypocritical that the same society that consumes me is also condemning me.'
