New York 2 Los Angeles 0 ET

The Los Angeles Kings have made a habit of coming from behind in these playoffs, and another comeback has put them on top in the Stanley Cup final.

The Kings rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat the New York Rangers in overtime to open the series and hold a 1-0 lead going into Saturday night's Game 2. Los Angeles took over late in the game, out-shooting the Rangers 20-3 in the third period (and 43-27 overall).

'One thing that's real evident to me, and it should be to our whole group, is we're not going to beat this team if we do not all bring our A game,' New York Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault said the day after the game.

The Rangers indeed appeared to have their A game early on, taking a 2-0 lead in the first period. Ryan McDonagh opened the scoring at 10:48 and was a factor in the second goal, picking up the assist on Mats Zuccarello's goal.

Will the Rangers be able to hold onto the lead on Saturday? Will Lundqvist stifle the Kings? Follow along for photos, reaction and more with the Post's companion to Game 2.
