Rourke, 62, beat out Pasadena native Elliot Seymour, 29, but not without controversy. During the fight, viewers took to Twitter claiming that some of the actor's punches were illegal. One of the questionable moves included a final punch to Seymour's buttocks. PHOTOS: Unforgettable sports scandals

'I've got some things going on in my life so that (boxing has) sort of saved me from myself,' Rourke told Russian TV, via AP. 'And for a man like me, it's better to live in fear than go on in shame.' PHOTOS: Celeb workout clothes and style
Rourke's win was his first fight in 20 years. He's previously won six matches and two draws in his three-year boxing career.
