Who deserves the next UFC featherweight title shot? According to a recent UFC poll, it's Frankie Edgar, not Conor McGregor.
Frankie Edgar's victory at UFC Fight Night 57 was the kind of performance that garners most people a title shot, but the No. 2-ranked featherweight is not taking any chances.
Immediately after submitting Cub Swanson late in the fifth round, Edgar said he hoped to have earned a title shot against UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo. In fact, Edgar took it one step further and picked the time, place, and venue. Now, he just needs the champ to agree and matchmaker Joe Silva to book it. Edgar is also trying to make his case for the fight with a screenshot from UFC.com's own poll, his point being that 'the numbers don't lie' about who mixed martial arts (MMA) fans want to see.

Well fight fans, what say you?
Is Edgar next in line for a title shot, or are you in the 47 percent who think that McGregor would be the more interesting fight?
Assuming, of course, Dennis Siver doesn't have something to say about that, first?
