Vancouver saw a significant increase in voter turnout in the 2014 civic election, with an estimated 44 per cent of eligible voters casting ballots.

That's up from 35 per cent in 2011 and ahead of the city's goal of 40 per cent.

Turnout was reportedly heavy, both in advanced polling and yesterday, when several voting stations were kept open 45 minutes longer than scheduled.

Here are full 2014 B.C. civic election results.
