Bethesda is ringing in the New Year by inviting a " ton more" players to visit Tamriel as part of the ongoing beta test for the studio's upcoming MMO The Elder Scrolls Online.
The invitations went out yesterday. If your invitation didn't land in your general email inbox, check your spam folder, Bethesda said. Gmail users should check their "promotions" tab, as invitations for the Elder Scrolls Online beta test will be sent there.
Bethesda has been steadily increasing the number of players for the Elder Scrolls Online beta since it originally began in March 2013. If you didn't get in through this latest round, no need to worry, as more invitations will be sent out ahead of launch on April 4, Bethesda said.
Right now, the Elder Scrolls Online beta is for PC only. It's not clear if the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, due out in June 2014, are also going to receive a beta period.
You can sign up to beta test The Elder Scrolls Online through the game's website today. You'll also need to agree to a strict non-disclosure agreement that prohibits you from sharing details about the game in its pre-release state.
