TORONTO - The Greater Toronto Area is under a wind chill warning that has caused several school bus service cancellations.

Below is a list of delays and cancellations: School bus:
Toronto District School Board: Bus service CANCELLED today but all schools remain open.
Toronto Catholic District School Board: Bus service CANCELLED but all schools remain open, except at the Island Public/Natural Science School.
Peel District School Board: All buses in Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga are CANCELLED. Schools remain open.
York Region District School Board: School bus service CANCELLED but all schools remain open.
York Catholic District School Board: School bus service CANCELLED but all schools remain open.
Niagara Public and Catholic District School Board: School bus service CANCELLED but all schools remain open.
Simcoe County District School Board: All buses CANCELLED and schools CLOSED, including North, South, Central and West Zone.
Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board & Peel District School Board: Buses in the Town of Caledon and the County of Dufferin are CANCELLED, this includes all schools in the Town of Caledon and all school runs that begin in the Town of Caledon. All other buses are running & all schools are open.
Trillium Lakelands District School Board: All buses to schools in City of Kawartha Lakes, Muskoka, and Haliburton have been CANCELLED. Schools remain open.
Waterloo Region District School Board and the Waterloo Catholic District School Board: School bus CANCELLED and ALL SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED. TTC:
All streetcars delayed due to extreme cold. Shuttle buses between Long Branch loop and Humber loop on the 501 Queen & 508 Lakeshore.
This is resulting in a slower than normal rollout of streetcars in the west end of the city. Riders waiting for cars along St Clair, Dundas, Queen and King may experience longer wait times.

There are delays on the Kitchener and Milton line of the GO Train. The Kitchener 05:49 - Union 07:53 train trip is on the move, delayed 32 minutes from the Kitchener GO due to a weather related brake issue. The Mount Pleasant 05:57 - Union 06:50 train trip is delayed 12 minutes from the Brampton GO due to the crew investigating an equipment malfunction. The Bramalea 05:55 - Union 06:32 train trip arrived Union 14 minutes late due to a platform overshoot in addition to a weather related door malfunction. The Georgetown 07:06 - Union 08:01 train trip will make all stops to Union due to a weather related brake issue affecting an earlier train. The Georgetown 07:13 - Union 08:17 train trip will make all stops to Union due to a weather related brake issue affecting an earlier train. Milton 06:23 - Union 07:20 train trip is delayed 35-40 minutes from the Milton GO due to a disabled freight train. Milton 06:43 - Union 07:40 train trip is delayed 30-35 minutes from Milton GO due to a disabled freight train. Pearson International Airport:
Extreme cold weather is causing equipment to freeze and safety issues for employees. A "ground stop" is in effect until at least 9:00 a.m., meaning plans are not permitted to land.
As of 5:30 a.m., 236 flights have been cancelled. Passengers are reminded to check with their airline before arriving at the airport.
Ground stop continues until at least 9:00 am. Frozen equipment and safety issues at play.
