Justin Bieber has come under further fire after a video emerged showing Brazilian fans who had paid nearly £800 to 'meet and greet' the star spending only seconds in the same room as him before being shoved out the exit by bodyguards.

Tickets for the Justin Bieber VIP Meet & Greet Experience, which took place before the star's show in Sao Paulo, Brazil, sold out in two hours after being put on sale to members of Bieber's official fan club, which is also paid for.

But a shocking video posted online by one disgruntled fan who secretly filmed her 'once in a lifetime' encounter with the teen idol shows how they weren't allowed time to even exchange words with the Canadian singer.

Wearing dark glasses, Bieber appears not to even glance at the star-struck Beliebers as they pose with him for a photo before being brusquely manhandled away by security guards in a matter of seconds.

To make matters worse, fans were left waiting for three hours before the Boyfriend singer finally turned up for the 'meet and greet' in a tent next to Sao Paulo's Anhembi Arena on Saturday night, and many complained that he was 'cold' and 'indifferent'.

Cameras or mobile phones were confiscated, while any gifts fans wanted to give their idol had to be left with security guards at the entrance, according to reports.

One teenager who had paid the amount - more than four times the minimum salary in Brazil - complained on Twitter: 'I've just left the 'meet' in shock.

'Half of us left loving him and half left hating him. Guys, it was so quick. Ask anyone.'

The girl, calling herself nothingbiebss, later wrote: 'Guys, Justin is amazing, he's beautiful, don't doubt this, he just lacks a little consideration.

'Even though he was ignorant with me, I still met him... I cried a lot, but a lot of Beliebers comforted me, and I comforted many others. I still love him."

Brazilian gossip columnist Leonardo Torres, from the Portal Pop website, laid into the 19-year-old star on Tuesday.

He wrote: 'There were no, 'hi, okay?'s, no 'my name is' or 'I've loved you since...'. It's done like a factory line, and often the 'greet' doesn't even happen.

'The video shows that fans aren't given time for hardly anything. They might manage to hug him if they're quick. In practise, each second means 2,800 reals (£795) to the singer. It's the embodiment of the saying 'time is money'.'

Another fan even left convinced that it wasn't actually Bieber who she had got to meet.

She wrote on YouTube: 'The meet and greet is so quick so that fans don't realise that it ISN'T HIM.

'That's why the bodyguards push the girls away so quickly and don't let them kiss or hug him, so his dark glasses don't fall off, because without the glasses they can't see that it isn't Justin at all.'

A spokesperson for Bieber has been contacted for comment.
