Jay Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail tour had UK fans scrambling for tickets this morning, with the October dates in support of his new album selling out within minutes. And it looks like Jay has earnt some bragging rights over his wife Beyonce as demand for his tour outstrips his wife's next UK date.
Viagogo, the world's largest ticket marketplace have told EntertainmentWise that since 9am this morning, when Jay's tickets went on sale, it has recorded a 324 per cent increase in searches for 'Jay Z's Magna Carta tour'.
And that's not all, the site report that demand for tickets to Jay's Magna Carta tour is outstripping that of his wife's V Festival headline gig in August by 2:1.

Viagogo spokesperson Steve Roest reveals to EntWise: "Beyonce and Jay Z continue to dominate the UK live music scene with this latest tour's record sell-out time boosting their popularity even further."
"It seems The Carters have well and truly earned their titles of the king and queen of the music industry."
After this morning's mad dash for tickets left thousands of fans complaining they missed out, the '99 Problems' star added two more Manchester and London dates to his already extensive European tour.

Fans who were fortunate to grab tickets this morning were quick to brag about their success on Twitter but more gutted Jay Z lovers were flooding the sight with frustration going as far as to call ticket buy site 'Ticket master' "con artists".
The problem of purchasing tickets has proven to be a popular problem in the UK with fans of Beyonce and boy band One Direction all complaining of similar issues this year.
Jay will now be playing a second date at the Manchester Arena on October 4 and a fourth date at London's 02 Arena on October 14.
