Her fashion sense often leaves little to the imagination.

But 20-year-old Miley Cyrus got an A-plus for her sleek and sophisticated outfit that she wore as she left her London hotel on Friday night.

Miley sported an unusually conservative white silk shirt teamed with tailored black pants and strappy black designer heels as she embarked for a night out on the town.

Miley wore her hair side-parted with large frame black designer sunglasses with fresh make-up and bright red nails.

She seemed to be in a good mood, flashing a peace sign as she left her hotel and was met by a gaggle of waiting photographers and fans.

Her stylish look was in contrast to the the rock and roll style outfit she wore to the Radio 1 studios the previous day.

The singer showed off her enviable shape in a short leather skirt and a printed T-shirt with a pair of strappy snakeskin sandals while carrying the same a gold handbag on one shoulder.

Ahead of her arrival at the studios Miley had tweeted: 'Slept 1 hour. Full day of press here I come.'

It's not surprising to see the singer suffering from jet lag given that she had only landed in London from American on Wednesday.

Miley has obviously packed a ton of designer clothes for her trip across the pond.

The star was spotted arriving at Heathrow airport in a tweed jumpsuit, which covered up the normally flesh-flashing star from head to toe.

The blonde looked like she had chosen her outfit for a comfort rather than style, as she made the transatlantic flight from New York, but obviously failed to realise the UK would be quit e hot.

Trendsetter Miley could have been seeking some style tips from the latest issue of Vogue, which she was spotted clutching as she made her way through the airport, surrounded by fans.

Miley is in the UK for a whirlwind visit to promote her comeback single We Can't Stop.

Meanwhile, back Stateside rapper Nicki Minaj has embraced the 'twerking' dance craze that has taken America by storm and that Miley herself has been an avid fan of in the past.

The 30-year-old performer posted an Instagram video of herself twerking in her swimming pool by doing the provocative butt shaking move.
