Russell Brand's new squeeze is revealed as his stylist of ten years

He was spotted enjoying a rather public display of affection with a mystery brunette last week in Hollywood.

But it seems Russell Brand's new friend isn't such a mystery after all, as it's been revealed she is in fact his stylist and has been for the last ten years.

And the comic certainly seems comfortable with mum-of-one Nicola Schuller as the pair spent more time locking lips than eating.

Speaking about the budding romance a source told : 'Nicola's been Russell's good friend for years and was his shoulder to cry on through his divorce from Katy Perry, and splits from other women.

'She created the style he's best known for - his spiky back-combed hair. He has a lot to thank her for.

'But in the last few weeks things between them have got a lot more hot and heavy than just friends. The way they were kissing in public speaks for itself.'

And it certainly seems that things are hotting up as just last week the 38-year-old asked his Twitter fans if they knew of a flat he and Nicola could rent in East London.

He wrote: ' Seriously. Does Anyone have a flat in East London to rent btw July 30/Aug 14? For me? Tell me& @schullerinc send links/pics/kinky advantages.'

The news that Russell, who was famously married to Katy Perry, has found love once more comes as he revealed during an interview on Radio 4's Desert Island Discs that he was very eager to settle down with a wife and kids.

He said: 'I was talking to friends yesterday and thought, 'Oh my God, the things I want are a wife, somewhere to live'. However extraordinary and exciting I like to present myself as being, in the end I'd like to sit down and watch TV with someone and hold hands.

'I really embraced fame at the beginning, I was really excited by fame, but now I have progressed.'

He added: 'I do want children to a point that is almost unseemly in a man. The only language they know is truth and love.'

Russell has been connected with a slew of women since splitting with wife Katy Perry.

He began dating Isabella Brewster before his divorce from Katy, to whom he was married for 14 months, was finalised.

The actor then dropped Isabella for Spice Girl Geri Halliwell - which turned out to be a very short-lived fling.
